😢😢 😢 That makes people think about the migration. It seems that father has failed and the child is looking for him the destiny take the child to the beach and a friendly hand is waiting to help. I feel very sad, because after all the countries have spoiled all the resources in Africa or other places and the goverments there are even worst. So they are obliged to run away from poverty. My Dad passed away 1 month ago today with my brother and sister by his side, I was on the other side of the world in Australia where I have lived for 10 years. I stumbled upon this song during the long flight back to the UK that evening. I’m not a believer of anything but the timing of finding such a song seems too coincidental to be by chance. Sending strength to all those who have lost their Father, it’s a void in my life that will never be filled.

My father was not abusive with me but with my mom, and he was mostly absent I have just a few memories of when he lived with us. He's not ok, he has so many issues because he lost his father when he was a child and his mother raise him in poorly emotional conditions. I lost my sister when I was a child. She unexpectedly took her own life at the age of 18 due to depression. This absolutely shattered my dad's heart into a million pieces. I walked into the living room and caught him watching this video in floods of tears. Even after 30 years, he can not get over the pain he felt when receiving that dreaded news that his beautiful little girl had gone. Throughout my entire life my dad has held onto that pain but believes one day he will reunite with her again. We both feel that this song is unfinished. That little girl will find her daddy again because he is out there searching for her too, and when they finally meet, they will live the most peaceful life. Having had my bio father who was a monster, to say the least, and then a daddy who cherishes me it passes thru my spirit differently. This makes me mourn the soul and inner child of my bio father because I know he was hurt inside in ways unfathomable. I wish I could have known a better more alive version of him. I love who he could have been but never was able to be due to the abuse he endured and passed on. Ive had vivid dreams where I am untying they chains around his heart and found his little spirit of his inner child there in pain and held him to my heart. That said, he died tragically in a drunk car accident due to addiction to the bottle. He tried to drown his sorrows rather than heal them as I have spent my whole life healing through meditation and therapy and friendships and Coldplay- my new religion. I am so grateful for all of the pure love my adoptive daddy gave me and the love he constantly poured over me. This song is just different for children who overcame abuse. Ive cried out my pain to this song and a few others by coldplay and it has been a beautiful experience. Love you coldplay for your purifying words. Namaste from my heart to yours.

I got mad at my oldest daughter on her 13th birthday, Aug. 23, for something petty. My daughters have been staying with their mom since then. I've had custody of them for over 5 years now. Possible theory: The girl loses her dad and her life begins to degrade, shown by the water filling up in her boat. Her emotions overcome her and she becomes depressed, making her want to end her life. She tries to do so (shown by her abandoning the boat) and is passing away from her life (shown as she rides on the whale) but suddenly either she finds the will to live or her mother saves her (shown by the kite that rescues her), so she doesn't end up dying. finally, when the father's hand touches the girl's, i think this represents the girl realising that she will always have a connection to the father in her heart. idk, just a theory.
