Hey Hassan! Thank you for your kind words :) Actually, Chris played it the same exact way = same chord shapes, same general tuning. All he does differently with the choir is instead of having the guitar in open D tuning like on the record (D A D F# A D), he has it one semi-note up, i.e. open Eb tuning: Eb Bb Eb G Bb Eb. But the chord shapes, riffs, etc. all stay the same. Hope this helps :) Have a great weekend!

Can you explain how the counting works going from the bridge to final chorus? I think I hear a 3-3-4 pattern before it goes back to 4/4 but it confuses me muchly haha.

Hey Julian! Yeah, that one is indeed a bit tricky 😅 In my head, I still counted it as regular 4/4 time all the way through. After that final sustained G-major chord in the bridge though, you wait 1 bar + 3 beats, then, on beat 4 of the second bar, you play the first note of that transitions riff. Play the riff as indicated in my tab in the description, then, on the first "one" of the chorus, play that open d ("0") on the e-string. Full instruments kick back in on beat 2 of that bar - which makes it seem like that whole riff is a little off / not 4/4, which it still is though. Hope that helped! Obviously much easier to explain in an actual video 😅 But anyways, let me know if you still have questions about this :) Jo

I only ever checked for the acoustic guitar tuning and it seems open D-major tuning is actually what Chris uses: kzbin.info/www/bejne/i3nVgn6tf6h8lacsi=DnDPrzAiAJ0AKB8D He plays it half a step higher here, which doesn't match the studio version's key. But the tuning is basically the same and so are the chord shapes :) All the best to you - Jo

All good! I'll walk you through it :) So. 1. Tune your low e-string down 2 steps to D. 2. Leave your a-string on A. 3. Leave your d-string on D. 4. Tune your g-string down 1 step to F#. 5.
