From what I know, playing guitar actually eliminates Parkinsons or similar effects while playing, because the parts of the brain used for that are not affected. This is why Johnny Cash could play guitar without shakes. And its probably the same reason why those with a stutter have no stutter when singing.

My grandfather had Parkinson's and for him to even move in his bed was difficult because he had very little control over his body...and here we have Michael J. Fox braving the same disease the way he does. Not to compare the two but just to bring about the fact that Michael J. Fox is an amazing person. I am so inspired by this man.

Who are the uncompassionate idiots that disliked this video? MJ Fox is amazing! It is a true miracle what he is doing in this video right before our eyes! I personally know, I was a bass player for 30 years and was diagnosed 4 years ago with Parkinson's and can no longer play. The man is inspirational!
