I was at this concert in Melbourne(Big Day Out)in 2001 and these guys were relatively new on the scene and especially in Australia..I remember saying to a friend there.."these guys are brilliant and will be huge! Almost 20 years later and the rest is history..🙌🏼🙌🏼

34:42 Wow, its so nice to hear in my place before it was finished! When will opened on the drums, I was expecting jonnys riff to start after the first bar but they did it after 2 which threw me off lol. Also its really weird not hearing the crowd screaming, 'yeahhhhhhhh!' how long must we wait, for it... 'yeahhhhhh!'. This song is amazing live because of this, and its good to hear that now in every live show they get 100% from the crowd at this part

I was fortunate enough to see their Gold Coast BDO set up on the front railing, which as I later learned, was their very first show in Australia. I also saw them at the Adelaide BDO a couple of weeks later and got to meet the band as that festival had a signing tent (Powderfinger were in the tent next door). In no way at the time was I thinking Coldplay would go on to being one of the biggest bands in the world a few years after this tour.
