I’m so very happy you reacted to this! I watched the Director’s cut video, but hadn’t watched the official one yet. I love Dick Van Dyke. He’s so endearing to so many. There is a moment in the director's cut where he says that he is aware that he could die any day. He is one of a small group of entertainers who are all octogenarians & nonagenarians who I fear we will lose in quick succession. He, Carol Burnett, Alan Alda, Mike Farrell .... We are the verge of losing a group of legends.
