Chris Martin witnessed how their team work. You see their leader and main lyricist taking charge and writing with Chris, the rappers doing their thing seamlessly, the vocalists just sitting back and letting Chris direct them (because it is a Coldplay song after all) and mr main vocals JK, one of the shyest members (hiding behind all that hair and bucket hat 😆) shining with his superb “impressive” skills. Also, I can feel their immense love and adoration for their maknae - they want him to shine, they are so proud of him and I am just so proud of them 🥲 Not one member trying to outshine anyone here. No one is better than the other. Pretty certain Chris can now understand why ARMY love BTS and why we fight hard for them. Solo stans, you’re all nasty. Get out of here. BTS is a team. That’s always been their essence.

In the Coldplay documentary of this song, Chris was talking about how he asked Jimin to do the harmonies on the fly and how he was super impressed that Jimin happily ran off to do them right then, and did them cold with hardly any warm up or guidance. It was so heartwarming to hear. It was also funny, because RM was talking about Chris walking with him through the Hybe office, and he's like, "Oh, is that Enhypen?" Chris even started naming members, as he has become such a K-Pop fan now!

ever since I knew coldplay x bts collab, somehow *_I think this experience is actually the most rewarding and way more valuable to bts_* compared to (let's say) getting an award like grammys or bbmas, vmas, amas, and such. I bet those award shows, even if BTS wins the rewards, are just like a cherry on top of their hard work in the American music industry. I feel like BTS is more thrilled to have experienced working with a fellow genuine artist like Coldplay. You can feel the energy between Chris and BTS that they both love music and pouring their heart and soul into it! I'm just saying... Coldplay only has no 1 hit on billboard (I think it's Viva La Vida? correct me if I'm wrong tho), but their many hits like Yellow, Charlie Brown, The Scientist, Fix You, Clocks, Hymn for The Weekend, Adventure of A Lifetime, Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall, etc also deserved that spot! and come on now, I bet if most winners in those award shows or other artists in BB top 10 held a concert in a big stadium, they're still pale in comparison to Coldplay and BTS masses (except Beyonce, Bruno, Ari, Ed, Katy, Taylor, and few others). the energy of both artists when they held a live concert is *massively insane.* It's like, in reality, their impacts in music towards people hold such a high place for their fans!

Chris Martin directed the whole thing, you can see Jungkook’s name pop up all over his guide for the song. Chris has an ear for what type of vocals to put as the pre-chorus to create that magic that draws you in immediately. which is exactly what everyone said Jungkook’s voice did. he was so impressed by him 🥺💜 the song came out a masterpiece.

My boys BTS, ugh when I hear my bias V’s deep voice in this song, it’s just perfect. I’ve been listening to Coldplay since middle school back in like 2006, I love my boys BTS and I love Coldplay, the fact that they wanted to do a collab and actually respect BTS unlike some people who just use them for views and clout and are disrespectful. BTS been a huge fan of Coldplay since 2014. They're vocal about it. Every time they say they wanted a collab with Coldplay from previous years, it means it's them paying respect to the giant in the Music Industry. Also, Coldplay saved these guys, it's their song Fix You that gave them the hope to continue and start over again when they all felt the Burn Out during 2018 (which was evident in Jin's speech at MAMA2018 when they all cried and say that they were thinking about Disbanding at 2018) 2018 was the first real heartbreak for every OG ARMYs. And now, if Chris Martin saying this is his dream, so is BTS.

14:00 They really used the clip from the Wembley 2019 concert where ARMY surprised BTS by singing 'Young Forever'. That was so amazing. There are a lot of fancam's but you want one where you see them on stage. Most are focused only on the big screen were you only see 1 at a time, so you miss a lot of their reactions. It's so much better when you see them all. True, Chris did his homework. Knew what each one is capable of, and what will work best with this arrangement. I always love JK's voice, but Jimin actually added a beautiful texture to the harmonies. For RM to give the rap part, which he wrote, and agreed to sing instead tells so much about their work ethics and healthy team dynamics. Love J-Hope's slow rap. Suga's expectedly a rap monster, like RM. Love them all.

I think you misunderstood what I was trying to get across. So many artists are focused on growing their music and fanbase in just one part of the world while completely forgetting about other parts. BTS on the other hand eliminates all boarders when i comes to their music and wants to spread their message through music around the ENTIRE globe. That is one of the many things that separates them from anyone else and makes them so special!

My thought on Chris M is - after he saw BTS sing his "FIX YOU" - Chris then watch our BTS music video pay attention to their lyrics and fell in love with BTS. Bcs when he came to Korea (of course he got an ok from HYBE for collab) straight to HYBE to meet our BTS, he was nervous ... imagine that - he is world-famous & humble! I'm not sure if I maybe understood you wrong but BTS' primary goal is definitely not global dominance. They care first and foremost about making good music that can have positive impact on other people. Their popularity is just a product of that and since they have it they use it to spread positivity and love as far as they possibly can.
