I don't think Masato is talking about his "personal feeling" in this song This song used for an anime called "Ninja Kamui",and Ninja Kamui is about Joe Higan(The Protagonist) that want to get revenge because his whole family getting murdered So i think this song is from Joe Higan POV

I like your intrepretation of the song and your thoughs on it. Some other people whose reactions I've seen just sit there and say "oh cool" 1-3 times and thats it. but anyways... the song is used in the anime "Ninja Kamui". The anime is about a guy who was part of a ninja organization, but settled down with his wife (also from the organization). and one day, (like it is often the case in anime) his wife and his child get killed by this very ninja organization. and well, guy then wants his vengeance. So he takes "'cause an eye or a tooth wont be all that you lose" veeeeeery bloody literall.... edit: oh and I would recomend you the song "2020". which is literally about the year 2020 with quarantine and everything

I appreciate the compliment. I'm happy to hear that you're one of the 8-12% that stick around for my attempt at breaking down the song lol. Might be an anime I have to check out. Seems this song and ado are both used in anime. Think someone said ado was from tokyo ghoul? I need to watch them. Definitely sounds like he is going John Wick on them and I love a good show about revenge. Ill have to check it out one day. I can definitely give that a look. I already have another song of his that'll be uploaded this week but I plan on exploring a lot more of his catalog!

@@TwistedGunZoh yeah, unravel by ado is from Tokyo ghoul, yes. First season was great, the second was like... Why? (Completely different from the manga!) And season 3 was rushed at the second half. I rather recomend the manga, but if you're not that much into manga, the anime is alright

@@kiiri._.chan. I dont mind manga so much. If the anime isn't finished, I watch it to where its at then read the manga to finish. Thats what im doing with black clover currently. Guess ill stick to the manga then.

@@TwistedGunZthe manga is also more brutal at a specific part and also without reading the manga season 3 dosnt make much sense. (Like I said season 2 was very different from the manga).

@@kiiri._.chan. I might give it a read one day. Right now Helldivers 2 is where my freetime goes lol. Probably perfect timing because I think My hero academia is about to wrap up and that's what I'v been reading mostly, same with jujutsu kaisen

Really nice reaction. Vocalist Masato is half American. I recommend other Coldrain songs, for example "Bloody Power Fame" (opening to the anime Bastard), "The side effects".

I actually already have another song of theirs reacted to and 90% ready to go. To me, them and dexcore have become instant favorites of mine and stopping myself from binging their whole catalog is difficult. I'm a bit bummed out so few care to watch it but wow, they are absolutely incredible. You really knew what I was into with those two recommendations. I did give deviloof a listen and It doesn't vibe with me too much tbh but these two 10/10. Thank you!

@@TwistedGunZ Unfortunately, Coldrain is quite an underrated band in the west. I don't understand why this is so. They have good songs, good lyrics, good musicians and a great singer. They sing in English and perform very well at concerts. As for Deviloof, they are quite specific. They will maintain good relations with Jiluka and Dexcore. They even have a common channel (DxDxJ) and performed together, so you got them as a complement :) And if you ever want to listen to something really Japanese, I recommend Wagakki Band. I don't know if you'll like it because they combine traditional Japanese music with rock. In her singing, the singer uses vocal techniques dating back to the times of the samurai. No, I'm not forcing you to react :) Just listen to them in your free time. A good song to start with is "Hakushu Kassai" from 2018.

@@waszamrocznosc5798 yeah I personally don't understand why they wouldn't so well in the west. Maybe their label isn't promoting them properly because they sound exactly like a band a lot of people I know in high-school would gravitate towards. Thats why I was shocked to know they were a Japanese band because they sound like a band id have been raised on. Even though it gets no views, I still love them and will post their music because I want to explore their catalog. I will definitely give that other band a listen to sometime tomorrow. I gotta get some sleep. It hurts seeing those bags under my eyes when editing videos 😂😂😂

Love the open mindedness! If you’re digging Japanese bands that sing in English check out on ok rock. I would start you off with we from the ambitions Japan dome tour.
