Wow. Blew me away to see him throw that Old Rip onto the ground like that just to get that rye in there. And then to watch Fred follow suit. I won the right to buy and Old Rip in a lottery. Only time I’ve ever had a bottle but I gifted it to a family member who really wanted it. Maybe one day I’ll get the chance to buy one for myself. That was tough to watch, but definitely something you’d expect from Rip.

I would take an old rip 10 over any bottle in the world. My best friend and I growing up always used to reference old rip van winkle before we even really knew how rare it was. He passed away a few years ago at the age of 27 and I haven’t been able to find a bottle for less than 1K. That bottle much less the juice has such a nostalgic meaning that words can’t really describe

He’s not really a bourbon guy. Nobody would ever throw ORVW or anything of such quality out like that, I don’t care how much money they have, if they are a bourbon guy. Also the way he described the LSOM Rye “a little smooth on the back side” is how a novice would describe it

It was such a pleasure to attend this event and have a photo shoot with Cole. Nice gentleman. Somehow. My friend Donna and I missed this interview 😂 nice time. Well decorated. Pleasant wait staff. I like the content but when you yell in the microphone it’s hard to continue listening. Those microphones allow you to talk in a normal tone. Thanks
