Epic convo guys! I paused this midway through to watch Cole’s 1500m gold medal win for the 1,000th time. (Do NOT watch that race if you’re supposed to be doing an easy workout) 😅

FYI- Sebastian Coe of the UK, the current IOC President, is the only man in history to win the Olympic 1500M Title x2- first in 1980 (Moscow) and then in 1984 (Los Angeles). How does Cole Hocker not know this?! Coe was also the Silver Medalist in the 800M at both those Olympic Games. Coe is arguably the greatest middle distance runner in history…he was also tiny at 5’8” 130lbs. Where people get that most Mid D runners are tall/large is a fallacy. Most Olympic 1500M Champions have been very diminutive and slightly built figures.

I’m still betting on Jakob at important races, you have a long way to go until you’re accomplished as the person people bet on.
