One of the best TE in the league yet he is rarely talked about
@holdwhatdoor76299 ай бұрын
Next year I think he will breakout. With the Bears bringing in Shane Waldron as OC, he loves using 2 and 3 TE sets and he had Geno Smith putting up 4000yard/30 td season in 2022. The 2024 season for the bears is shaping up to be special. Lets see what they add from the draft

@@Johnsmithswiss look at the stats. 2023 Kmet 73 receptions on 90 targets, 719 yards, 6tds 42.3 average receiving yards per game with a 9.9 average yard per catch. 2023 LaPorta 86 receptions on 120 targets, 889 yards 10 tds, 52 average receiving yards per game with a 10 yard average catch. LaPorta lead Kmet in all major categories for 2023. In what world would you put Kmet ahead of LaPorta?

Absolute stud. They asked him to do so much of the dirty work and so much stupid, counterintuitive stuff within the Getsy offense and he never complained. Still ended up having a great year in the receiving game in spite of it. He’s everything you want in a tight end.

Wait… how is Fields making all those throws if he can’t throw with anticipation read a defense or is so inaccurate of a Qb? Real head scratcher.
@holdwhatdoor76299 ай бұрын
Almost like when he has someone who can run the routes he can anticipate and read the defense. DJ Moore and Kmet both had career years this year. Lets get MHJr and a center like Powers-Johnson and give Fields a career year in 2024.
@tubx38053 ай бұрын
Everett is a good pick up. A lot of his catches are from short throws and dump offs. Does Everett have the speed to be a downfield threat? Kmet certainly has the speed get downfield and make long catches. Kmet's length is also an advantage in contested catches.

3:39 Mooney wide open as usual.
@johnrevenaugh10 ай бұрын
stop, bro; db undercuts that easy or gets a pass breakup... cmon do me a favor and pause at 3:39, by the time mooney gets "open" for a half second justin would have to throw a pass faster than the speed of light to hit that throw. db is flipping his hips, cutting hard, and is baiting justin. plus justin got more yards than he would have if he threw to mooney... what are you trying to get at here?? like i love mooney, but honestly getsy had no idea how to use him or this offense. slow developing plays with a turnstile at oline is asking your qb to get hurt or have to make magic out of nothing. justin needs to work on his footwork but he is a damn good qb if you bring context to his stats
@keithk155910 ай бұрын
@@johnrevenaugh Bro, that is as open as it gets in the NFL. What I'm getting at is JF1 doesn't throw with anticipation or throw receivers open very often. This is just one clip, I have seen a bunch just like this. Justin has all the "tools" to be a great QB but the fact is he just isn't. Alot of his flaws can't be fixed by coaching unfortunately. If that ball is out "on time" it is a pretty easy completion. He just doesn't trust it for what ever reason. I know i'm not going to change your mind because everyone who defends him has blinders on for what ever reason. He's a hell of an athlete and seems to be an even better dude but he just isn't an elite NFL qb and I don't think he ever will be. Check out the St Brown brothers podcast when DJ was on, Amon Ra asked DJ "why yall don't throw to Mooney, he open ALOT" or something along those lines. If they keep JF1 I will support him but I don't expect much different than what I've seen the past 3 years, and I am aware of all the excuses. Tired of mediocre QB play in this town and you should be too. 🐻⬇️ ✌️✝️
