You are both so amazing. When my son Chris, c6/c7 quad, had problems with the hot Houston weather, we used a 'Mister'. The cool water made it possible for him to spend time outside with his friends. Hugs to you both.

omg, cole! glad by the end of the video u looked to be in better spirits!! it is hot out there so u were a trooper thru it! not the same, by in relation to the heat, it was scary humid and hot on friday here in TX (were not even to our true "hot af" temps yet). well, i had to do some lawn care. kid u not, almost paced out on my deck involuntarily. i literally crawled thru the back down to make in the house to the ac then for my water bottle. we all just need to be careful! i hope you all are or have had a great MX trip! its a beautiful place w a diverse history.

What an amazing trip! I have heat intolerance from medical issues, and Cole really was a trooper. That is no joke! For me, a neck fan doesn’t really help that much, but cooling towels and ice packs can.

Evaporative cooling vests/hats/etc. can be a huge lifesaver but they’re so dependent on low ambient humidity… I found out the hard way when visiting South Carolina and my gear just made me feel worse!

just because you mentioned that you should plan for your tyres potentially popping, have a look at getting some bike it will temporarily fix punctures (it will last a week or so before it looses air again, but really gets you out of a bind), I've used it a couple of times on my bike and it really came in clutch for me and I don't see why it wouldn't also work on wheelchair wheels

Hey Cole I’m a kid that’s like you my injury happened when I was 16 years old I can’t move from my shoulder down can you give me advice on getting back to my normal life I’m working on therapy every day I live in a rehabilitation center and I’m looking into getting epidural stimulation implanted in my spine I’m a c5 I still get really depressed I tend to think about so much things

I also struggle with overheating in hot weather and something I've found helps is a gel cooling pad designed for migraines, placed either on the forehead or back of the neck. They don't always stick well, do I've found that the paper tape style of medical tape can keep it stuck on.

Hey !! I've been there before it was very interesting. When I was there people were allowed to climb the stairs and a few people fell down the crumbling stairs,that was back in 1994 ,I didn't see anyone climbing them in your video, I'm sure they stopped it ,a while ago it was very frightening.

I was at the pyramid when I was walking. It was November and it was still hot! Tomorrow it’s supposed to be 85 in my city and that is too hot for me now. Of course the one day in the week you have a doctors appointment I have to be out in it. I feel for you as I know what it is like.

Maybe you can try the icy hot pads/packs that go over you chest or shoulders. Maybe they have one that is cool only. And can be adjusted to go across his chest to keep him cooler.

We did this same tour with wheel the world last year. I sat at those stairs to.. and asked my partner to lift me up them lol. Also Cole you need a firefly, or batec.. I just scooted all the way around this place easily. I did die from the heat though!
