We always enjoy checking out new areas in hopes that we will find a new honey hole and we definitely hit the jackpot with this one! How lovely to watch you two fishing as a team again. This brought back my "Cole & Jay" smile, along with the associated sore cheeks. THANKS GUYS!!!! Ever hear of, or try, a SLOW DEATH Crawler Rig / Harness???? They are intended to be trolled very slowly along the lake bottom being a Bottom Bouncer Rig. But not having a boat, I tie the SLOW DEATH hook trailing behind spinners blades / beads, use a two or so foot fluorocarbon leader, swivel, plastic "shock" bead, then an appropriate sized in-line egg or trolling sinker. I have had good success bank casting this in and below one of the local Erie Canal Locks... several really good sized smallies, yellow perch, a chain pickerel or two, bluegills, and walleyes!!! I think this specialized hook would work great with your plastic worms too!! Give it a Google or You Tube search.....
