Really nice seeing J sticking it out with you in that freezing weather and always great seeing Tiger getting to fish with you but if you do take the little one out in the cold maybe not too long it looks freezing there and as always love the hard work you put into your channel.

We are ice fishing in Minnesota. We also have these things called hand warmers, toe warmers, foot warmers, and body warmers. You just take them out, shake them, and they are warm for 6 hours or so. You might want to get some.

Nice! I want to ice fish some time!
@herbb85475 сағат бұрын
@COLE_and_JAY Ice fishing involves drilling holes through the ice. And then sitting in a heated shelter of some kind. We use small rod and reels. There are heaters, chairs, fishfinders and maybe a camera to see what is down there. The last time I was out, it was - 3 deg outside. The ice was about 14 inches thick. It's a lot different than summer time fishing.

I really wish that I could somehow get a hold of some Pearl Crappie Magnets. I know they slam the Bobby Garland Pearl White shad jigs but Crappie Magnet is so much more durable. I really do hope that Leland Lures will produce Pearl White so that I can have as a secret weapon amongst my fishing buddies.

Hiya Cole and Jay, first you too make me laugh so much while you are out fishing however, I have a question. I'm a fly fisherman, and I am looking to get a canoe or kayak to fish from. I've watched you all fish from both and I am interested in your opinions as to fishing from a canoe or kayak. Plus I have to have room for my fishing buddy, my belgian malinois. Let me know what ya think, Thanks, Bob
@COLE_and_JAY8 сағат бұрын
I prefer to fish in kayaks because they are smaller and easy to maneuver. Ours are more stable than most canoes too. But, I do love the space in a canoe. Just depends on what your preference is. I also really prefer a kayak with some sort of motor or pedal drive on it so you can fish hands free and have better control of the vessel while fishing. Old Town sportsman106 powered by Minn kota is my favorite kayak I have used.

Other than cut out the tail, I prefer to stop, get the filet loose, then flip over and filet from tail to head leaving the skin attached to the tail
