Thanks for eating the Bass. When I was in a Bass Club 48 years ago we didn't have live wells We had fish fry's at the end of competitions. I too release most but I always keep enough for a meal. (I'd rather eat Walleye or Crappie though). Cypress is growing like a weed. He is the cutest!

When I was of walking age, one time I walked into my Grandma's living room and she saw I was eating something. She ask me what was I eating and I wouldn't tell her. She kept a real close eye on me and caught me with my hand in the bag of dog food. From what I remember, it was pretty tasty (about like a largemouth bass lol). Point being, you're right, get the dog food out of reach or you'll have a little boy with dog breath lol. Cutest baby on the internet.

Long nosed forceps are very useful for deep hooked Bass. The advantage being you can clip them to your shirt in case you need them. As long as there is no Gill damage, the fish should be fine. As usual, another great video and it seemed like a lot of fun was being had.

Chef Paul Prudhome, I know I spelled that wrong, invented blackened red fish. It was so popular in south Louisiana that we had to put strict limits on the amount of redfish you could legally keep. I think that it is 2 max. Anyway, Chef has had a strong line of seasoning for 30 years. I love watching y'all on the channel. Baby Cypress is the bomb!

Never thought my wife would sit & watch fishing videos with me but she says you are "such a cute couple" so she watches your videos with me. She even said that the frogging with lures looked like something she would like to try sometime, and then she actually said that she might want to go along sometime when we go bowfishing on the DE bay for stingrays which I get to do a couple times a summer. I think spotted bass are the best eating. Smallmouth are really good also, the cleaner and clearer the water the better. On bass, stripers etc that are big enough the ribs are maybe my favorite part. The have to be a little careful eating them but nothing beats rib meat!! Buffalo ribs are the best tho!! Try it next time y'all catch one, you'll be glad you did. Just remember to cut off the inner membrane first. :)
