From a dock i have caught 27 walleye averaging 16” so far in the lake I fish 15 minutes away in northern Michigan. I put 60 crappie in my freezer last spring. i was fishing with a bobber set at 1.5 feet. I used perch minnow averaging 1.5 inches long. I have never limited on bluegills in my 50 years of fishing. The 4 limits of walleye we’re also a first for me. I love you videos and Cole is great with the cinematography montages in the begging , middle and the outdo video. I love the way Jay laughs and she is suck a cutie! I also love in the intros and outrose the faces she makes! Love to both of you and C! ❤️!

I'm from Minnesota, and when I find a nice sunfish (that's what we call them lol) bed I use a fly rod with the smallest, lightest popper you can find. The water boils when you get it out there, and they give you an amazing fight on a fly rod. I love you guys!

Have you ever tried bottom fishing for bluegill? Use a small split shot and throw near bed. They will literally try to pull rod out of your hand and the bites usually result in the bigger fish.

Bream like that, they belong on a stump hook. But they fry up good too. Then freeze the heads until ready, boil them up, add seasoning, serve over rice. Just like eating meat off neck bone. Better than souse meat. Oh, the eyes are sweet too. I'm lying, I'm not eating fish heads unless hongry. Which there is that meat, but forget the eyes too, 😂😂😂

I have a park near me where bluegills get to 2# and they are very meaty in this park there is 2 big ponds 4+ acres and then we have a quarry that has pretty much everything but musky. You can only have kayak on the water with exception of John boat and electric motor. You'd both love it. Our streams have huge cats.

Nice catch!!!! They’ll be spawning here late May early June. When the lilacs bloom, and the cottonwoods are dropping there cotton. Here in Michigan in our deep cold lakes they will spawn till mid August, I’ve seen them spawning up to ten feet deep in the deepest coldest lakes. In the shallower lakes and ponds it’s right up on bank sometimes. LOVE EATING THEM TOO!!!!👍🥰
