Coleman 100cc Predator 212 Engine Swap!

In todays we took the old weak 3hp engine on the Coleman 100cc engine and replace it with 6.5hp engine! We made it fast!

I recommend to deflat your back tire a couple psi for more grip you will lose a couple mph but it's safer also tighten up that chain a bit

You need to buy a 3/4 bore clutch because the one on the original is two small.

I used a number #35 roller chain and a 3/4 bore clutch that was made for the #35 chain. I believe that the rear sprocket is made for a #35 as well. I have some in my description!

Yes. I just swapped mine. Super easy swap. Need a new clutch and to figure out hooking up the throttle… that’s it. And move the gas tank… you can use the Coleman one if you have it on top Of the predator. Be careful with a 12/60 gear it’s a bit sketchy

I bought a kit like this because it comes with a tool to adjust to the right size not bad! And the extra chain always comes in handy if somethings goes wrong. I got the stock engine on the bike to go 43 I was wondering if the predator would be faster

How you get the stock to go 43? Yeah the predator would still have more torque! But the stock engine is still very reliable it lasted three whole years never stopped once!

@@cartercardona lol I cut the throttle screw, bypassed the governor and some stage 1 mods. But I just recently put the predator on my bike, the thing has way to much torque. I ordered a 48 tooth sprocket, a 10 tooth clutch and a 420 chain. I’ll let you know if that will calm things down.

Well a 212 on a ct100u would be faster because it’s smaller but the Coleman 200u is bigger so if u want faster but can sacrifice size then go for the 100 but if you absolutely need bigger than go for the 200u

same as old engine, 3500 rpm on output shaft, depends on the gearing you use to the rear wheel. smaller gear reduction = faster but less torque

That engine looks like it has an unbalanced crank. They shaky but that thing looked like it was having a seizure.
