My 2023 has the hinges but it's still hard to get to I cut a hole on the outside and put a door like on the front on the outside next to entrance door that way on can get to under the bed for the outside too

The new ones come with the storage underneath the bunk opened already and moved the control panel to under the dinette seat.

I have a 2024 and it has a hinge on the inside of camper but I am going to had a side box going to be hard to store anything under the bunk with the slats in the way
