Just got the exact same container from Sainsbury's today 05/07/2024 £4.50 for my coleman exponent feather 442 and it is a perfect fit on diameter and has about 8mm slack vertically. Absolutely ideal!

Great little stove. I have a Coleman Peak1 Apex II, which is basically this stove with an external tank. Still chugging away after 20 plus years. We have those containers here in Canada. Called Locknlock by Starfrit.

Great and useful info for for the US guys. I can't tell you how pleased I am to find this. Best bit is that being at my brother's place there are Sainsbury's all round.

My beloved 442 is a NATO military issue version and it came with two square aluminum mess tins, one large and one small, which the stove stores inside of. It also came with a handle to grip the hot mess tins with.

With your stove being one of the heaviest bits's of kit you carry it would be in the middle of your pack quite high up. Don't fasten it on the outside it will alter your ballance.

No, these are designed for petrol and white gas (refined petroleum)
