I think he could. You could always screw in the throttle screw to limit his speed till he gets used to it.

Take the throttle screw out and you’ll get a few more miles per hour then zip tie the governor and you’ll be hitting 35+ in no time

I miss the old days when we carries bread ties when we went to the kart track so we could get the extra needed to dominate the others. Now when I go to paid tracks they have sensors that automatically govern to a max speed at any part of the track that is fun.

No gears on this beast. This bike just uses a centrifugal clutch, so it is always in neutral until you give it throttle.

The seat is comfortable, but the lack of rear shock gets to your spine after a while.

I'm having a similar dilemma. I can't decide to get the CT200U, or the CT200U-EX. I'll be going on longer trips on mountain roads. I've heard people deflate the tires a tad, to give it some extra bounce, but I've also the 200U is more comfortable because of the thicker seat pad. Any tips or pointers?
