When you need to get breakfast, lunch and dinner sorted out quick-smart at the campsite, the HyperFlame FyreCadet Camping Stove from Coleman will get the job done.
This stove features WindBlock pot supports for using larger cookware, streamlined design with a secure lid latch, independently adjustable flame control, and a total output of 22,000 BTUs - so this stove delivers on performance out in the field.
In this video, our gear guru Ben gives you the full rundown on the Hyperflame FyreCadet Camping Stove from Coleman. He starts out with the gas bottles, regulator, and hose that you need to use with this stove, the dimensions and weight, why there are no windshields, the burners, and how the latch works.
Then Ben connects the stove to the regulator and gas supply, tells you how to do a gas safety check, and fires it up to show you how to put it on simmer, and finishes with running you through the griddle, bag and other compatible accessories available - so check it out above for all the details.

Are you able to do a side by side comparison or review between this and the FyreKnight please? I'm interested in this range but it would be nice to have a side by side comparison.

There isn't much difference at all between these stoves, Normann, the video wouldn't unearth much. The FyreCadet is marginally smaller and lighter and doesn't have the robust corner bumpers that the FyreKnight has. Coleman also state a difference in BTU, but I don't think the average user would notice a difference. Probably the main difference is the handle, which is folding on the FyreKnight but not on the FyreCadet. ~ Ben

Amongst the red FYRE HyperFlame stoves, what is the difference between the Cadet vs Sargent Vs Major?
@SnowysOutdoors
@SnowysOutdoors 2 жыл бұрын
The Sergeant and Major are the American branding of the same stoves. From what I can tell the only difference between the Major and the others is that it has legs, but cant really comment on the US stoves as we haven't seen them in real life. ~ Lauren

Major is the highest rank while Sargent is second
@sugarplumfairy420
@sugarplumfairy420 Жыл бұрын
@@Turtlemilk Actually they are completely different ranking systems. Major is a Commissioned Officer rank (7th down from the top rank) whilst Sergeant is an Other Ranks rank (5th down from the top rank). So there is no comparison, for instance the lowest Commissioned Officer rank (Lieutenant) will always outrank even the highest Other Ranks rank (Regimental Sergeant Major). At least in the Australian Army anyway, no doubt similar in the US.

Snowys Outdoors. It is practically the same with the exception that you get the 2 grills included with the stove . I guess having it a 3 in 1 as they advertise it , the name changed to a Fyresargent . However , looks like that case will work , I guess I would need to keep the grills in a different case .

I have one of these and i found that you need to take the knobs completely out and wipe the grease off the brass and o-rings then spray on some wd 40. Works alot better now you can lower the flame alot more without it going completely out.

I have a coleman stove that takes batteries for the electronic ignition. I just bought a Fold and Go stove and cannot find where the batteries for the electronic ignition go. I noticed that you did not discuss where the batteries go on this stove. Why is that? Why are no batteries needed and what type of system is this that does not take batteries? I will answer my own question. After watching several youtube videos I decided that a flint bar must be used to strike a spark for that flame to arise. Wow, doesn't even say that on the box. Why not? Now I don't think coleman is very professional. Of course I thought the same with my coleman stove in storage because I didn't know how to regulate the flame. There were no words on the box on how to do that. But youtube videos give many suggestions. Like how to take the knobs off, pull out the stem, wipe it off, then put silicone cream on it. That stem needs friction to regulate that knob's turns for a correct flame. Didn't want to buy another 'coleman stove, but after reading all the reviews ALL of the propane stoves give, I found out that everyone else is having the same problem no matter what the brand. I wonder if all the makers of propane stoves have had a party to decide a way to cause people to give up and then go buy another stove.
