These people I used to tailgate with would through huge parties in the parking lot, and almost no one had tickets. They's just stay out there and watch the game on big TVs while eating bbq and drinking. It was a blast!

Yeah, the lack of wheels is a bummer, but the removable drip tray seems like it could be a game changer.

great video. What do you think about the Weber Q's cast iron skillet? I got one and only used it twice because everything seemed to stick and burn/bond to the surface. Before the second try I seasoned it in the oven but that didn't help. It's like the cast iron is too porous. Your thoughts?

@thecanadiangrill17153 жыл бұрын
Good review, but I think your Weber Q with a stand is far superior. Why? Cast iron grates and aluminum firebox. Same as any high quality full size grill. (Broil King, Napoleon, Weber, etc.) I don't understand why these lower quality chinese made grills are so popular when there are much better options. Example, I recently bought Napoleon's TravelQ 1165 (orange) which has a cast iron grate for 150 CAD, probably around 117 USD. If you haven't tried one out yet, I can say this little portable grill puts others to shame! Thanks for the video!

My iPhone is also assembled in China. And it's an excellent phone.
@thecanadiangrill17153 жыл бұрын
@@GallaghersGrub Hey, sorry. I'm not knocking Chinese made products. My TravelQ was also made in China and the quality is fantastic. All I meant was that there are 'lower quality' and 'higher quality' made products. In comparing Road Trips to other grills at my local store, I wouldn't put them in the 'higher quality' category, especially when they're priced similar to Weber Q1200's . Just my opinion, no offence intended.

I just went out on a camping trip this past weekend and the same thing happened to us. Extra Coleman hose i bought to connect to the 20lb tank would not work so had to go out and buy a couple little bottles of Coleman propane at Wal-Mart and then it worked fine! Sounds like Coleman needs to take a good look at who is making these hoses because this is not the first time I've heard this about the hose!

0:07 Attention all two camera KZbinrs: When you try to get fancy with two cameras, you have to actually turn your head and look at the camera that you edit to in your final video. If not, you’ll look like you have OCD and you’re staring off into nowhere.

@catlady83242 жыл бұрын
@@GallaghersGrub Of course! That’s why you see professional newscasters and sportscasters looking at the wrong camera everyday. How do you figure that’s incorrect? 🤦♀️
That is actually a real multi-cam filmmaking technique. It’s a modified cutaway-point-of-view shot. This technique is commonly used in interview production for dramatic effect. It creates a second perspective designed to draw the viewer into the screen in almost a “third person” POV.
