Great review! I have one, just did the oil change, and cleaned the air filter. That oil filter position is something else!! I sprayed the bed with automotive undercoating to stop stuff sliding and quiet the rattling of things in the bed. About three months in had to get fuel pump replaced, TSC warrantied it and took care of me. No issues since then, owned it a year and a half now, running regular gas. Did the same with the seat belts. Great UTV and I would buy again as well.

Sorry for the late response. The oil filter was the worst part. That is a good idea about spraying the bed. I have stuff sliding around in mine and that would probably help too. Glad TSC covered the warranty. Thanks for watching

Another great video you have made. I asked you to do a video on the wrench and 4wheel drive and here it is. Thanks so much!!! You have assisted this 80 plus year old man. Really love our Coleman UT 400 and is really a great help on the farm.

Just picked ours up yesterday @ Tractor Supply. Whoever put it together left a lot of stuff loose. Hated the seatbelts right off the get-go. Took'em off today just unplug the sensor wire on the left one. Put them in a zip bag and wire-tied it up to a cross-member behind the seat. Sure is easier now to remove the seat also. Learned a lot from you about this machine and hope ours will be as reliable as yours. I like your videos, especially when they are about stuff like this.
@WorleyFamilyHomestead2 жыл бұрын
That is good. I did have to tighten a few things on ours too but for the most part it was pretty good. I like what you did with the seatbelts. I might have to do the same because they are in the way when you take the seat off. I appreciate you watching and let me know how your Coleman does or if you have any other ideas to make things easier with it.

Mr Worley I really appreciate your review. I was really hoping that you would hit upon my question. Like yours, my UT400 clock in in military mode. I can not for the life of me find any information online or in my owners manual how to put it in 12hr mode if that option even exists. Have you tried since this video?

Great video, I have the same machine. Have really had no issues other than finding the correct oil filter. First two I bought from TSC the filter would bottom out before tightening against the seal. Filter is a bear to get at. Wish the clock didn’t read in 24 hour time.

I ordered my last filter from Amazon. The brand was Chikia. I typed in Hisun/ ColemanUTV oil filter. It was hard for me to get the wrench on to change it too. I wish I could change the clock too.Thanks for watching.

Really considering one of these, your review helped me decide this is a decent machine for the money! I can't wrap my head around the idea dumping 20K on a sxs from one of the big name brands.

We looked at all the others but for the money we decided to take a chance on it. It has been a great machine for us. With all the accessories that it came with we just couldn't pass it up. If you get one we hope it's as reliable as ours has been. Thanks

For what it's worth, I bought one of these about a year ago for general use on my 12 acre farmstead - I use it for all the chores that you could imagine, hauling hay, spraying, clean-ups, etc - and I have been super happy with it. I agree that it is a tad under-powered compared to some of the more expensive UTV's out there, but for my purposes it has plenty of power, and I am a big guy and my property is very hilly. It's loud, it's kind of plasticy and cheesy, but well worth the price.

Great video, thanks for the insight. Where is the fuse box and why would mine stop going into 4wheel drive?
@WorleyFamilyHomestead Жыл бұрын
Hey, The fuse box is under the seat. I would check the fuse first and then check the wiring that connects to the actuator to make sure it is connected good. Then maybe the switch in the dash or the actuator itself. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
@slimjim7411 Жыл бұрын
Much like 4 wheelers it depends on the reviewer since some people just use them as a tool for working around the property and other people want like a trail riding machine and to race them down gravel roads at 50+ mph.

Yep. This works good for us here but if we were going trail riding we might want to get something with more gears.

Great video, we just got one but can’t get the parking brake lever to release the parking brake pedal, did you ever have to adjust the brake release?
@WorleyFamilyHomestead Жыл бұрын
Hey, Not sure about the parking brake. Ours has been fine but you might want to try and adjust it a little. We use ours sometimes. The one we have is a lever on the left side that we pull down to release. I will look at ours and see how to adjust it. Good luck on adjusting yours. Let us know if you fix it.
@HawaiiSustainable Жыл бұрын
@@WorleyFamilyHomestead Thank you, I called our version of TSC and my friend there said to push the brake pedal down while jerking the lever down quickly and forcibly because it’s new said they sometimes stick. Before it worked easily so didn’t want to break it but after trying his advice and pulling it several times heard a click and then the next pull down it released. Thank you, again for the great video.

What type of fuel do you put in yours. I first put regular 10% ethanol gas in and the plug fooled up. Tried putting stabilizer which helped but I had to put an ounce in everything I attempted to start it. I use the seat belts everything I ride it. I don't use it every day like it sounds you do. Left for 4 weeks, now the thing won't start at all. I tried higher octane still have the same problem. Any suggestions?
@filstan13 ай бұрын
I use rec gas 90 octane
@russellrowley8943 ай бұрын
@@filstan1 Thank-you. I just bought some that has no ethanol in it but my tank is full of high octane w/ethanol. I may have to siphon the old gas out so I can use just regular 90 w/o ethanol. Right now my issue seems to be no gas going to the cylinder. I'm going to replace the fuel filter and test that the pump is working.

Hey, I use the mid grade gas. It has run fine on it. Thanks for watching.
@nyrainman4897 Жыл бұрын
Not sure how yours drives, but I have a 2021 UT400 and it seems to me that I have to give it a bit more gas then needed to get it to start moving and when it does, it seems to be holding back until it starts off. Then when it does, it's a little jerky, then when it starts moving along, it seems to ride better. I have nothing to compare this with to to see whether or not this is normal. Any recommendations?
@WorleyFamilyHomestead Жыл бұрын
Not sure why yours is doing that. I have been lucky and not had that issue. I know mine has to have both seatbelts connected or it acts a little funny like it doesn't have all its power. Not sure if that might help. If I see anything on it I will let you know.

Have you heard or know how to adjust throttle? Find when climbing hill, give it gas and it hesitates or stalled. Smell of gas/flooding?
@WorleyFamilyHomestead2 жыл бұрын
Hey, I'm not sure about the throttle but I will look at mine and see if I can figure it out. It is fuel injected I don't know why you would smell gas. Just wondering how steep is the hill and if the gas is low in the tank. Maybe the gas is low enough on the hill that the fuel pump is not picking it up. Or maybe the fuel filter could be clogged. If you figure it out please let me know.

@@WorleyFamilyHomestead Thank you for reply! I will certainly let you know if we figure it out. The gas tank is never below half-full. This machine was in shop with less than 5 hours on.
