Decided to get a UTV. Checked with the local dealers and there isn't much to pick from. All sold out unless you want the $15,000 + ones. One place said they had some coming in June. I checked with them and now it's Oct. Used ones are almost as much as new. So I seen this one at Tractor Supply and got it. They had 2 and were gone the same day.

Nice! Good job getting that crate off your trailer, looks like it was a bit of a challenge all around. I’ve been looking for a utility vehicle, and I wondered about these units from tractor supply. Thanks for posting!

I used to work at TSC we would build them on the metal frame then drive if off.

Glad to see I'm not the only sucker that bought one of these. It's not a bad little machine, but good luck finding anybody that would even touch it that would fix it. Not very powerfu,l but it does for light duty applications.

I just got my first one today! It was delivered, and was already assembled. It was the store model, so it sat in the sun a couple of months and the 'hood' faded some, and some of the decals were starting to come off, so the manager knocked $500 off, and after some haggling, we got another $250 off because of the decals, AND it was a Black Friday sale, $2,000 off the $9,000 price, so we got it for about $6,250! It had less than 5 miles on it. I hope this works out for me. I'm 54, and have been legally blind my whole life. I have some eyesight, but I've never been able to drive a vehicle. We have 5 acres of land, and we live on a dirt road, way out in the country. I had a lovely 2003 Yamaha gas golf cart, which I loved, but I only had it for 2 years before it was becoming a sunk-cost item. We were putting more $$ into it to fix it over and over again until we finally decided to sell it at a loss. My Mom and I were out shopping the day before Thanksgiving, and just on a whim, I asked if we could look at the Tractor Supply for a gift for my husband, when we saw this UTV out front, just begging to be bought! Now it's here, and I'm nervous, and intimidated. I got to drive it around the yard a couple of times, and it sure has a LOT more power than my beloved golf cart had! But I know I am going to LOVE it! We needed that dump bed on the back really bad, for our yard clean up jobs. A lot of tree limbs, and lucky us, we are allowed to burn on our property here in north Florida. Wish me good luck, as I'm hoping this UTV will last longer than my golf cart. I'm excited to get back out there now and drive some more. Thank you for your video-- I came here to watch some, so I could learn more about my new wheels. I'm glad you got your UTV off of that crate safely, I was holding my breath when it nearly tipped! How has it worked for you after time has gone by? Is she still working well? Anything you can tell me, which might help someone like me, who is a new driver? I need to learn how to check the oil and all of that stuff... I read the entire manual already, so I'm feeling like I learned a few things doing that. Wish me luck!!

I am happy with mine. As long as you don't miss use it and maintain it I am sure it will work well for you. If you have a problem shifting from F to R just move it a little more and make sure to stop with the brake and hold it then it will shift easily. That is what I discovered after having some difficulty shifting. Otherwise no problems. Thanks for watching and commenting.

@@kevincrawford2027 I've not had trouble shifting, so far. The problem I have is this terrible squeaking. I called a local shop that fixes these Coleman UTVs and they told me that squeak is a very common occurrence with Colemans, and there is nothing they can do to help that noise stop. Thanks for your reply.

@@kevincrawford2027 Hi Kevin, oh boy! The faster I go, the less I hear the squeak. You too? I talked to the mechanic who covers the warranty for these UTVs from TSC, and he told me there is nothing he can do about this. It's a VERY common problem with Coleman UTVs and it has something to do with the brakes (pads?)-- sorry, I didn't quite understand which part he meant. BUT, he said it's common, you can't fix it, and even after a year of driving, you MIGHT be able to wear it down, but you might not... Meanwhile, he said, Coleman is working on the problem with the shifting gear and the grinding it does. I haven't noticed that, but he said it is the 2nd most common problem of these UTVs by Coleman. SO, I guess you and I will have to live with, and ignore, that squeak. Hopefully, neither of us will have a problem with any shifting gears grinding! PS--Mom and I keep smelling something each time we drive it, we swear it smells like horse puckey! I told her I keep smelling horse sh*t, and she said she smelled it TOO! WHAT IS that? Some kind of grease they use when the put it together? Have you noticed that as well? Sorry for such a long msg........ Just wanted to tell you what the mechanic told us.

I have a couple questions, as I just bought mine from a box store, which had been sitting there unsold for over a year due to missing keys, gas cap and a couple smaller items. From a dead stop, does the UTV move smoothly or does it seem to hold back for a few feet and then run smoother? Also, would you know how to remove the headlight lenses, as I need to clean the cavities where the headlights are seated?
@kevincrawford2027
@kevincrawford2027 11 ай бұрын
Yea I guess you could say it takes a bit to start moving smoothly. Never took my lenses off. I see two screws on the sides of the lenses I would guess if you remove them the other side might be held in with a tab & maybe a gasket or some kind of seal that may be sticky.

There isn't one. It is fuel injected. If it cranks a long time before it starts try this. While cranking push the gas petal down and back up quickly. Makes mine start easier if it has set a while.

I don’t know much about metal & welding prices but there has to be several hundred dollars worth at least, of metal & welding in that crate ! What is the UTV branded as ? I’m seeing a Coleman logo the same as the gas stoves & other outdoor gas accessories.

Interesting the you put in the video all the detail of unloading the crate but none of the actual putting the machine together. For those that actually buy this machine and want to put it together themselves the latter would have been more helpful.

Putting it together is pretty straight forward and really not much to do. I 'am pretty sure most wouldn't have any problem with the little bit of assembly required. Thanks for commenting and watching.
