So that's what it's called! a fork rake? it's used for tuning the back wheel left or right? the bottom piece chipped off(it broke off during shipping)...but l am still able to keep it tight in place. Do they make repairs for this? would l need to , for the long run in the years ahead?

I. Supposed to buy a MB camo brand new. Should I buy it new for 650?
@unclerusty65853 жыл бұрын
Old school minibikes are gonna get harder and harder to find as the minibike world continues to gain popularity again. As long as you have a place to ride, you should buy a minibike. A brand new bike is great, and you will get to grow into it as you learn how to tune it and make more power out of that stock motor. A beat up old bike comes at a cheap price (or it should) and you can do anything you want with an old bike. Predator motors are cheap, and since you didn’t blow all your money on a new bike, you can buy a stage one kit and a TAV, and blow a stock bike out of the water. It really depends on your riding skill and your mechanic skill. If you have neither, then a new bike is gonna be the more reliable way to go.

i've read that the "Baja Warrior" was recalled in 2015 or safety issues with the front tire falling off.. Is Massimo the same company as Baja? And is it the same exact design or the same design but with a fixed front axil?
@unclerusty65853 жыл бұрын
BassHeadsProduction I’m not sure about the recall. Most Minibike problems are due to wrecks, poor mechanics, or asking your Minibike to do things that it wasn’t intended for. I have never seen a from axel fall off a Minibike unless it went off some jumps or nobody ever bothered to check to see if all the nuts and bolts are tight. The faster your Minibike gets, the more you should check to make sure everything is tight. You can always buy a lock nut and lock washer for the axel if you are concerned about it
@BassHeadsProduction3 жыл бұрын
@@unclerusty6585 no doubt, thanks for the response. if you look up the Baja Warrior specifically.. there was a recall for that in 2015 due to that one issue being more prevalent

Man I was thinking of getting one for a poor man's Rokon kinda deal. Was going to more it with racks and mounting point and maybe a few other this. How well do you reckon it would make a little hunting/camping bike?
@unclerusty65854 жыл бұрын
Ryan Davis it would make a great camping bike, but I would leave the stock exhaust on it for hunting. My bikes are a little loud for hunting. The MB 200 is a much smoother ride, but for the price, the Coleman can go through all the same terrain

@@unclerusty6585 I was thinking of the mb 200 for the rear suspension. Hate the cheesy tank. Was thinking of getting a BT200X and chopping the rear wheel and adding a swing arm and shocks. May stretch it a half foot to a foot for best leverage and strength. Then I can add an extended rear rack... Sounds good and the frame looks perfect for those mods. Just gotta find a place to get it done
@ryandavis46894 жыл бұрын
Basically so far I like the BT200X frame by far the most. Just need rear suspension.

Like... I'm wanting to get a bt200x and then try to find a junk mb200trailmaster...then I can yank trailmaster swingarm and mounting brackets for all and just chop and mod the bt200x. Have big plans in my head...don't we all...
@unclerusty65854 жыл бұрын
Ryan Davis it would be easier to take off the fake tank on the mb 200 than it would be to build a rear suspension for another bike. I am building another mb 200 now. Larger 212 cc stage 2 with key start ignition. I had to remove the stock tank and replace it with a 4 wheeler tank. It wasn’t hard to remove the fake tank

I have the built motor for that mb200 that will take the win. Then again, I also have that Hisun 196 at about 15hp on my shelf too. Sigh. I really do need to put those on something 🤔.

@@unclerusty6585 I have matching DB30S' with Predator 212s. 1 is a Hemi with 18# Springs, billet rod, ARC flywheel, Ruixing 212 carb 38/140 jets, intake and staged header. The Non-Hemi is identical except for the head and slash pipe. Its even got a hemi flat piston. All they have is a zip tie on the governor and oil sensor delete. I have a few videos on my channel. MB 200 - stock? What is MB 200 max speed?
@unclerusty65852 жыл бұрын
Trail Master MB 200 is a full suspension minibike available at Go Power Sports, and many other online dealers. They usually run 30-35 mph out of the box, but there are many mods available, and these 2 bikes only had a new jet, intake and exhaust header. That is mostly stock. No cam, head work, or governor removed. That is not what the bikes look like anymore

which ones the better bike?
@unclerusty65853 жыл бұрын
By far, the Trail master MB 200 is the better bike straight out of the box. There is nothing wrong with the Coleman, but it’s usually not gonna do more than 25 mph stock while the MB 200 is easily a 35 mph bike. There are many mods available for both bikes and either one is capable of speeds not recommend for a mini bike. If you can find a used Coleman for a cheep price, then it’s the way to go. Extra horsepower is just time and money.

Which one could hold a 6” tall 250lb rider?
@unclerusty65853 жыл бұрын
Either one could hold you, but the Trail Master MB 200 is full suspension and come with a torque converter while the Coleman comes with front suspension and a rigid frame, and an old school clutch and a jack shaft. The handlebars could be changed easily on both bikes for $25 at cycle gear or Amazon. They both have forward foot positioning, and should make enough room for a 6 footer.
@unclerusty65853 жыл бұрын
The Mossimo or Baja Warrior is a good bike too. It’s comparable to the Coleman, but it feels better in the corners on dirt than the Coleman does to me. It’s a more comfortable seat than the Coleman too. On the flip side, Tractor Supply rolled out the new Coleman mini bikes yesterday at my local store. The new paint scheme is pretty cool, but it didn’t appear to have any other changes
@toughitaliankid2 жыл бұрын
How much bigger and taller is the MB?
@unclerusty65852 жыл бұрын
Than what? The Coleman? Seat height is 2 inches or so taller and not sure about the length. It’s definitely longer, and a more comfortable riding position for a full grown man. Both bikes are good, but the hydraulic brakes and full suspension on the MB 200 makes longer rides more enjoyable for me

Is a mb200 superior to a rupp in all ways?
@unclerusty65852 жыл бұрын
The Rupp is a classic piece of styling, and more closely resembles a Honda Trail bike in shape and size. The MB 200 is definitely more power and better braking, but it weighs more. Let’s take them to the track and find out

@unclerusty65852 жыл бұрын
The MB 200 was just playing with the Coleman the first lap. The GoPro rider was in his way most of the time. We sent the Coleman off the line first to give him a fair chance. The Coleman just didn’t have the same power with a jack shaft the the MB 200 has with a TAV. The only reason the Coleman went around him at the end was because he ran out of gas. It only has a stage one kit from GPS, and the governor has been bypassed. The MB 200 had a stage one, but the governor was still in tact. There is a better view of it in drone footage on another video on the channel.
