Not sure if youl I'm ever see this Cole but warming up is a must, however stretching has been proven to be ineffective at warming your body up. A light jog is usually the best way to do it.

Awesome content! Appreciate you taking the time to do stuff like like this. I would love to hear some of your top "ah-ha" moments during your career. By that I mean maybe a technique you learned, a feeling on the bike, or understanding something a little more clearly. Basically anything that you feel like made you a better rider more quickly than normal. Usually its small changes that are almost subconscious that add up over time, but I feel sometimes you get a tip, try it, and it produces a feeling where you're like "ah-ha! that's it", if that makes sense. Also, would LOVE to hear you talk suspension and what you look for or feel when riding!

Another huge thing is to manage fear. Fear of falling or even crashing is causing you to ride tight. It's what's keeping you from learning new skills and, if you crash, will actually cause more damage than if you were more loose. You'll be much better off if you can learn to do that. Understanding that the bike is literally designed and built to be ridden the shit out of, and that you will only progress if you try different things like moving around more on the bike etc, will help with managing fear. I know that was my biggest hurdle.

..I hope someone will serve this sad and happy story. I was 43 when my wife robbed me of three children and took them to Spain without my permission, that was on Tuesday for Saturday I went to the motocross track and for Sunday the same and that's how it has been for 12 years. The most important thing is that you are passionate about something in life and be sad or happy ....at the end of the day you will be happy to go to the motocross track

SOOO my question is how do riders get paid? I know theres a salary, but is there like bonuses from sponsors and the team? or a higher paycheck if you podium? I just figured there was a little more that went into it then the fans see and I'm sure a lot of dudes would like to hear the answer!

Tbh I always had this problem in my first practice. Exercises don’t work. You just need to loosen up. Don’t hang on for dear life. I don’t get it anymore in races just from keeping lose 👌

anthon _Dvnl yeah I’m aware riding often is the best. I can only ride weekends though. Been doing 100 push-up daily. Squeezing tennis balls. Just trying to find something to simulate riding

I would recommend more pull type exercises for grip strength. Of course push ups and bench and all of that is great but doing a lot of pull ups, lat pull downs, dead lifts and the sort will improve your grip strength!
