@@hawks2252 You are gaslighting me as a woman watch your views on Misogyny and Feminism, as here in a Australia we have many female farmers running their own operations. Bill Gates comes to Queensland to buy Brahman Cattle, our Genetics are the Worlds best, so we know stuff, no Govt subsides here at all, we make it on our own. The financial aspect of the Cornstars has gone forward in huge leaps and bounds due to aCole winning a Scholarship to College to study Economics. So I never underplay the benefits education I have this discussion with my nephew here in Australia who has attended Agriculture College about Cost Benefit Analysis on a frequent basis, as the bottom line has only a 2% return! Makes for great drainage . The sun warms the rock in the spring , helps seeds start a little earlier .

Hi Cole, I am from the City of Miami located in South Florida. Here a square of grass is considered green space 😂😂! I find your farm life so interesting. So different from city life. Your videos have exposed me to another world. I have questions. Remember I know nothing about agriculture. So please excuse my ignorance. 1. What happens to all those bushels of corn once they are sold?2. Is the corn sold to companies to make food like corn flakes? 3. Is the corn sold to other farms for animal feed? 4. Is any of the corn used to make ethanol? Please explain a little more about the final process. Perhaps you already made this video and I can go back and watch that. Love you work ethic. This inspires me to work more. Thank you for allowing fans like me to better understand the agriculture world. Most Americans like myself go to the grocery store but have no idea the work it takes to get produce or product in store shelves. Very proud of all you are doing. Great content!! Love watching ❤.

I'm really, really happy to see it wasn't anything major and you're still up and running. I really hope and pray all our farmers are going to have a great year because we all know y'all need it. Here's to the rest of the beans and then the corn all coming in with as little issue as possible and huge yields. God Bless our farmers and God Bless the USA... A consultant for Birds Eye said that there were 27 factors that determine when a crop is ready to harvest. One of them is the phase of the moon. My dad was a big believer in the Farmer's Almanac signs. One Saturday he was planting clover when the seeder broke down. Couldn't get it fixed til Monday. The clover he planted Saturday did good. We never saw any of the clover he planted Monday.

Q: Cole, in other farmers videos, I see they have a drag along rock collector they drag on bare unplanted soil. Granted you have hundreds and hundreds of acres, but doing that every season on different areas, wouldn’t you eventually cover all your ground and get rid of almost all those ricks. I mean those are REALLY rocks, not like little ones! Some areas they clear start like a freaking rock garden and clear like 95% of the rocks in a single pass. Considering the time alone you lose on down time and if there are any broken parts or real damage - wouldn’t it be cost justifiable to make such an effort. Over the years, you have shown many times big double-handed sized rocks all over the farmsteads that cause trouble or are lying around on edges.
@DVMagicStudios
@DVMagicStudios Жыл бұрын
@@justmeiniowa That makes sense that the rocks through thawing, erosion, etc. keep coming up to surface. Thanks for the reply. Hmm, though still makes you think the rock sifter would be helpful then? You explained why, but not how to reduce the damage they cause. Then again, I am a programmer with 7 feet of lawn out my condo back door, so what do I know about farming and soil. Guess thats why I love watching you big boys doing all that work because it so opposite of what I do all day.

Glad you didn't swallow that pair of rocks. Good luck getting the pit fixed, wonder if a bearing or bushing went bad as you wouldn't think the dry beans would gum something up--but you never know, moisture is the enemy of good function in metal parts .
