@@jaredmoorman1300 Nope, there's nothing to be jealous of. I take off any days I feel like. People that work in town only have weekends off and might not understand farmers don't punch a time clock, or work 5 day weeks and weekends are just days to farmers.

I thought farming was a lot easier until I watched your channel. I came for the hoarder house clean up and stayed for the interesting information and entertainment you offer. I had moved to Corning IA after living in Las Vegas for 30 yrs. holy moly what a culture shock! I loved it at first. That whole winter wonderland wore off after 3 yrs lol. I stayed 6 more yrs, 2 in Ames which was really kewl too.. It was a great place to call home. I moved to Hawaii after that. I did see snow a few times on Haleakala, Maui. Much Love from North Carolina DCS. Y’all can have those “negatives” up there. I worked out in the high plains in Colorado a few years back and drove past a bank every morning. One particular morning it had -17 on it. I can safely say that’s the coldest I have ever been. And we had to work outside putting handrails down. Had to take a weed burner to heat the holes up so the epoxy for the anchor bolts would even set. All I can say is God Bless all of you guys who scratch the dirt and help feed the “angry mob”. Especially those of you who do it up where you guys are. Be safe , and prayers for the boys a safe return trip and for your year to be a good one.

Just a thought. What if you were to use the vac and pump the corn into your pit and then have it dropped in the empty bin that is working. That way you can free up some time that it takes to load the truckers and they are not sitting there 45 minutes to load. I am not sure if you can set it up to dump into the pit and then in the second bin while working on finishing the Corvette and keeping an eye on the transferring. Working as a manufacturing engineering intern at an SBD recip blade factory (which I have seen you using blades from my factory) I am always running scenarios in my head to make things easier and more time efficient for everyone in my department.

Great video. Good to see you again. I don't know but it just seems like this big name grain bin company has failed you folks on so many levels. This extra time is costing you and your truck drivers. You have alot to do even though it's not planting or harvest. And I think you still have planters to repair. Anyhow, they've already raised the price but with some of the unsafe construction and rework they've done and now this trap door, besides they are way past the deadline in getting the whole project completed, I think you should get some money back. This reminds me of a pole barn we had built 35 years ago to surround a swimming pool. We already knew the crew was really careless. They completed the project which included a wooden deck surrounding the pool covered in thin woven carpet to prevent splinters in the feet. When the inspector came, he condemned the deck and the roof trusses. They had to come in and center the bolts on the trusses. What was really disappointing was in order to put more support in the deck, they had to peel back that wonderfully glued down carpet that looked seamless. After they relaid the carpet, it was never the same and the seams all stuck out. It's terrible when you have situations like that. Not everyone was bad on your work crew but it only takes one worker that doesn't care to just mess things up. Love the bin site but I'm so disappointed for you that you're dealing with this.
