To reveil her identity in the first season was a huge mistake. They could have waited at least one more season, because the reveal is more impressive the more you know all the characters. Also, the presentation of the reveal is very important too.

i think it was done right this way, the Watcher would know from the books, but this way we are able to see more from her true self.

The secret was already out within the fandom of the books, that would have been hard to really play on the teasing (and it's not like some other adaptation where you can change the mysterious person, that a huge part of Pen story)

I suspected it was her when Miss Thompson's pregnancy was discovered. It seemed too fitting as well since Eloise was trying to discover her.

@@mariamm1888 in the books he knows, and he explains his behaviour. He just didn't want to face a kind woman's pure feelings because she is... HER. Penelope. Also, he doesn't speak to her about it because he was hoping it was a crush, because he didn't want to break her heart and he had her so close so many years he kind of sisterzoned her. But as he said, in the end she was "not his sister indeed"😎

Cherry Pie that's what I'm thinking! but apparently in the books she actually is LW. I will be very disappointed in her then if she is because of the whole marina situation (apparently that was never in the book) . but I really hope she isn't in the show cause idk it makes me kinda dislike her and she was my favorite. but if she just works for LW it wouldn't be so bad.

It shouldve been Marina and Colin not Penelope. There's no genuine connection and Penelope is in love with a man who does not love her and very much with someone else. I wished it would've been Marina and Colin cause you can tell there was a genuine love despite the deception she did not mean to project. Although she should've admitted she was pregnant. She was never guided, no one cared for her much to tell her what she should do and what she can't. Marina speach to Penolope that night saying her love was unrequited was true.
