May favourite Bridgerton confession ever, only one which is not in mid argument or by shouting at each other. There's so much vulnerability from Colin's side in sharing his fear and insecurities and taking upon himself to push down his ego and love his wife 💗💗

It was so so beautiful… a lot of people said it made them cry! The fact that pen didn’t need to stiffle herself nor choose between her work and heart…. The fact that the man she’s loved for a long time finally realised his feelings for her and even loves her more in return… literally crazy about her The fact that he accepted her in all her vulnerability and authenticity. Hearing someone say their life purpose is to love you is probably the most beautiful thing ever especially for someone like pen who had been heavily abused emotionally by her mum and sisters all those while and being the laughing stock of the ton! My girl won hard! My boy also won because he finally found the love and emotional connection he had long desired and he found them in the same person who had been his most loyal and constant friend

I needed to hear this- I had lost most all respect when he twisted the knife in bedding her and trying to declare it entrapment right after her mom saying it was the only way she could get him. The featherington arc was incredible- but unsure of it all in all the sexualizing (c'mon- right after convincing us all it was a love marriage with John they flipped it all with implied lust at first sight with his cousin? Talk about proving it was wise of violet to not go to the Queen on their behalf

But that line made totally sense, I mean someone tried to entrapped him in s1, and he also believed penelope didn't loved him, it was more about his insecurities than about Penelope

lol, the entrapment line didn’t hurt me at all I was suprised that a lot of people were hurt by that… he was hurting and feeling betrayed , it’s normal to say things you don’t mean in those kind of situations. And even at that, he had every reason to be scared… he had almost been trapped in a marriage before bu her cousin and the woman didn’t even like him.. He was just scared that pen had lied about her feelings and just wanted a man to leave the four walls of her house.. Colin is the most sensitive person in this show. He’s really really soft and emotional and that’s why it hit him bad

This entire ball was my favorite. Colin finally accepting and loving his wife for who she is. And this dance sequence made me cry, especially seeing Violet take to the floor for the first time in the series. She deserved that after all these years of being widowed. 🦋🦋🦋🩷🩷🩷
