I found your channel after being recommended your reaction to the part 2 trailer. Really enjoyed it. So I’ve gone back and I’ve been watching your other reaction videos. They have been brilliant 🤩 Ruth Gemmell, the Queen that is Violet. Asked to be in the wide shots of the ballroom. The Director gave her the option to leave in an earlier scene so she didn’t have to stand around for hours but she wanted Violet to see the moment ❤

Just like Nicola wanted to touch Luke's hair in the carriage scene because she knew Pen would want to (she had an inner dialogue in the book about his hair). 😍

@@JilTheReal I love that in the book when Pen is laughing as she is brushing his hair as it reminds her of brushing Eloise’s and Colin is mortified 😂 I saw that interview when Nicola said Penelope would touch Colin’s hair😂 love her! She is making sure that the Polin love story is fully provided this year 😂❤️😂 I usually don’t watch the interviews, don’t look at the spoilers and watch the show once. But. This. Series. Has. Left. Me. UNHINGED 🤦🏻‍♀️I’ve watched all the interviews - more than once. I’ve watched the series at least 3 times and will be watching it again before next week. And don’t even get me started on the carriage scene. And the amount of spoilers I have looked for! I actually redownloaded twitter. I’m not going on there any more as I just want to enjoy the show when it comes out. It’s probably a good thing that I am going to a gig the night before the second part airs as I hate to think how I would cope. Though it does mean I miss the premiere!

I understood this 12:49 as Colin giving her a pep talk, his words are for her to encourage her to action. She kinda looks at him "yeah, thank you, it's exactly what I needed to hear" and walks away to find Debling.

Oh, that is an interesting take! I like that. At first I thought it might be a "Can you please flirt with Cressida, so she's out of my way?" 😂

@@JilTheReal oh, no. I don't think Pen would want Colin to flirt with any woman especially Cressida even as a distraction. It's definitely what I said. You can hear how he a little bit extra loud with his words of encouragement and look directly at her, making eye contact as " Pen, go get him! "

I think it is just another example of them unintentionally inspiring one another to do things. Like in season one, the what a barb scene where she accidentally ends up giving him the idea to dance with marina while she is dancing with that old creepy guy. I think Colin is saying how he feels about himself and trying to give himself a pep talk to tell Penelope he likes her. That's why he starts talking Violet right after about how to know if your friend likes you too. After he kissed her, he fell hard. He's down bad for Penelope, he wouldn't intentionally send her into the arms of debbling.

​@leahshaw3299 Exactly! The debutants were asking him about bravery and what-not and he says "with courage you can accomplish anything", which she overheard, inadvertently inspiring her into action. Shorty after, his mother tells him basically the exact same advice, to gather the courage to ask, which inspired him into action, only to fumble it. Also, there's a faint heartbeat during the first part when C & P are looking at each other and I still don't know whose heartbeat it is.

Just discovered your videos today. You have the BEST breakdown of the S3 PT2 trailer! Now I'm watching the rest of your vids. Very very good. I'm also glad you reference the books. I think that is fun to do. we all know they are deviating from the book stories. no problem; but it's fun to still reference book characters for their inner dialogues :)

I'm really happy you like them. 😊 Especially with Luke Newton and Nicola Coughlan being so in love with Bridgerton and really trying to implement things from the book (like the hair touching in the carriage scene), I have to believe that they keep the dialogue in mind while acting. And obviously, the director and the whole team behind Bridgerton doing an incredible job as well.
