Did anyone else think his eyes look depressed asf when conan congratulates him on his son ...I dunno maybe I'm wrong I know he and his gf had split up by then but yeah like most single parents probably unplanned he's probably a good father now but wasn't he a very reluctant father in the early days??? Dunno why I'm so obsessed lol But 20 years ago ppd and pnd in men probably wasn't even thought of....but yeah it's probably a thing

His son has Angelman Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that is known to impair speech, movement and balance. Colin has been active in supporting charities.

If you google the mother of his child, several articles explain in detail, they were fighting over custody and how much involvement he could have in his son's life, and she very much did not like him (apparently, there are even livejournal posts from this time period she wrote ranting about him that are still public to this day). From every Colin interview I've read and listened to so far, he clearly loves being a parent, and wanted to be one even in his bad boy period. We knew he had substance issues in time period though, and no doubt, between those and having to resolve issues with his ex so he could be involved in his son's life would have made him more vulnerable, however accidental, in a press interview.
