Brandon, as a long time follower of this channel and your work, back in the OG days with No Small Parts, I can not tell you how much joy it brings me that this channel and your videos exist. A million thanks. -Yours truly, a humble fan.

I admit, I wasn't thrilled when the news first released of Colin playing Oswald Cobblepot. To me, it made about as much sense as casting Linda Evangelista, I was thinking it was all wrong. Of course I was so glad and relieved to be proven wrong. I'm really looking forward to the Penguin miniseries, especially with Clancy Brown included in the cast. Can't wait to see them play off of each other.

Sugar on Apple+ is spectacular. Baffling how few people seem to have watched it. I suppose the point is Colin is spectacular. Basically everything he touches is gold.

I love Colin Farrell. As an actor and a man. I love the way he's spoken about acting and life in general. One thing that's a bit of a hot take is I think season 2 of True Detective is actually really great and, in some ways, better than the first season though I fully admit that had a lightning in the bottle thing going on that could never be topped.

Colin Farrell is one of my favorite actors. Always fascinating to watch. Just watched the first episode of The Penguin and am still astounded with his performance as Oswald. There’s some signature tells like his wide-eye looking from under furrowed brow, but he’s pretty much invisible and it’s just Oswald on screen.

I photodoubled last April on this for some of the Maserati long distance shots. Filmed in Bergen County NJ and Long Island. As a result I tell people I've photo doubled for Colin Farrell and leave out the part where he looked like that. 😁

Beyond the pure, simple fun he clearly has acting, I really appreciate Farrell's creative sincerity. Like you point out, even in movies that didn't always hit the right marks, Farrell is pretty much always game to bring 110% out of pure love for the game and he's always so open-minded-so dynamic-without being an unintentional ham. He carries a really compelling energy as an artist and person (part of that is definitely the ease with which he approaches being vulnerable, as you mention at the end). One of our finest working lads these days! Plus he can grow one hell of a mustache, which really counts for a lot in my book.

I had to double check, even though I knew that there are 8 episodes, not 6m because the last one is on november 10. I have seldom had the patience to wait a week for one to drop, or in the last 20 years, but this show is so good! I first watched the first 3 and after that, I stream the latest, when it comes out on Sundays. Two weeks ago I watched Sugar. That was a weird and underrated show, I think. Don't see ppl talk about it. That ended really trippy.

Colin was really pegged as the next big leaving man in Hollywood, I need to use most of his influence to fight that label off, to learn and grow as an actor improve what he had to offer intellectually to the art of film. He could have chosen a much easier path, it's hard not to romanticize and respect that choice

Brandon, I’ve been tuned in since your impressive impersonation videos (most notably the joker one) and dude ur content over the years just keeps improving and improving! Good shit! It had been about a year or 2 or maybe even 3 since I last looked for your videos but that’s only because I lost my original KZbin channel and forgot your KZbin channels name (I also seem to remember u had stopped making vids regularly for your yt page and over time I kinda stopped checking) but about 3 hours ago it just came to me out the blue ..”no small parts” ! And I quickly searched yt for your channel in hopes of new uploads about supporting actors and to discover not only that but podcasts and other content as well! Quite the pleasant surprise to say the least. You are making top shelf quality content imo Very well researched very well delivered, uniquely informative and presented respectfully and comedically at the same time. Congratulations on your progress i genuinely mean that, dude. Please keep it up Well wishes and good vibes always -a 35 yr old Mexican father of two named Daniel from phoenix az

Asian representation, you mean in the subjects we’re covering? I have a few on my list that I’d love to cover: Pat Morita, Michelle Yeoh, and I would love to do one on Steven Yeun. His performance in Burning is phenomenal. One of my favorite movies. I also did one a while back on James Hong, if you’re interested in watching: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o3i1nqCXqNKYjM0si=MuWndcFMGvT0leqs As for Ross Butler, I’m not too familiar with him. I’ll add him to the list.
