I’ve been very impressed with The Offer. The cast is fabulous and they completely sell it. A little irritated at the mafia and Sinatra line, just too much of it. Otherwise it’s brilliant!

A little history as the series took artistic liberties. Micky Cohen was in prison during the filming of the Godfather, so artistic liberties. Crazy Joe Gallo was killed after the Godfather was in the movie theaters, so again artistic liberties. I don't know who was involved with the Gallo hit, the Irishman movie had Russell Bufalino ordering Frank Sheeran for the hit. It could actually had been the Caesar character in the movie to avenge Joe Columbo and if it was, it was after the movie was in the theaters. There is a very good interview with Gianni Russo who played Carlo in the Godfather who was friends with Joe Columbo. Whole cast was awesome,indeed, but Matthew...that was performance of his career. Most of the time I forgot I was watching him.

Quality Screen Rant content?! Shocker. And the interviewer wasn't annoying and abbrasive and let the cast speak instead of talking over them or forcing them to give an answer they wanted out of them.
