Beautiful version. People on here seem to think it is an either/or. It's not. Van Morrison did a beautiful job with his creation. The question is not which one is better. The question is did Colin do justice to Van's work? I believe he did.

I saw Colin live in concert many years back here in Vancouver and I remember it as being one of the most energized and electric concerts I've ever seen. Still to this day. This dedication/ rendition of an already beautiful song was knocked out of the park. Neither is superior and yet both are literally, Superior.

Hello AgentFok, I found Cantley QC and the Salette I found was in France. Are you originally from France? I am originally from Cardston, Alberta. It is the Mormon capital of Canada. There is a huge Mormon temple with the Rocky Mountains in the background. It's a beautiful place and most of my family is still there. I am happier in Quebec. I get to speak French. Love this song SO much but I still love Van Morrison's rendition of it...much more gritty. This is just to smooth for me, without all those earthy undertones.
