Even Collin had a a smile after he slid backward down the road. Lucky for sure.

It was an amazing experience bringing the car back after all these years. Great job by the Dirtfish crew on the video ❤

While all the Group B cars were simply awesome, the MG Metro 6R4 has the best sound for me with that screaming V6 revving up to 10k.

Remember that well. Great to have you here for the remainder of the championship.

The impressive part was McRae looking back whilst travelling backwards...

...plus did McRae not use a gear pacenote system so that corner may well have been a 2nd gear right?

GREAT video guys!! Finally an in depth analysis of what happened all them years ago!! Did Colin own this car or RENT it?? I’d say Colin knew he was coming in too hot AND sooo he turned a little too soon to put himself into a spin not knowing how it would turn turn out AND got lucky how in ended up ……??? Maybe he did a recon with Nicky knew it was tighter than they thought at 1st making the notes?? The timing guys at the end must have been shocked when they saw tape on the spoiler too 😂😂😂

Colin ione of the greatest wrc driver. As of my point of view. Very sad to lost him, but I think we always will remember him with love in our heart.

Very reminiscent of Dai Llewellyn's crash on the Circuit of Ireland back in the day ... a series of slight undulations on the road which - at speed - unsettled the car and stole the grip. I remember afterwards Dai was standing by the road, collecting back pieces of his metro off fans that had claimed them as souvenirs ... he was especially keen to get back the kevlar(?) wheel covers they used, saying 'those cost 500 each!!' ;-)

Just a shame the Metro proved unreliable all weekend. A sticking throttle on Knockalla isn’t ideal 😅

Hi did quite well that weekend,he won the modified section by around 7 minutes👍
