Phil Marriott I haven’t seen Benjamin or Waiting for You or any of his plays (other than The Tempest, which was filmed), but out of the rest, Nathan Appleby was my favorite performance of his. It’s a huge disappointment that it didn’t get renewed for season 2.

samantha maney Acting is something he's always wanted to do, since as a child, and that's part of why I admire him so much. He's probably one of the very few people I actually consider a role model. He's such a calm, down to earth guy who is dedicated and hardworking. Plus extremely talented at what he does. Not only that but I love his sense of humour, even if you only get a small glipse of it from old interviews. I would love to meet him one day, though I'd think I'd actually die from being so flustered.

On film, his performance as Cathal O Regan in 'Parked' 2010 is outstanding and he is sublime as Bosie in this year's 'The Happy Prince'. On stage his part as Skinny in 'Mojo' blew me away. On telly it has to be 'Merlin' with Nathan Appleby in 'Living and the Dead' coming a close second. Have to confess though, I love everything he does...

Colin Morgan really is one of those few people I truly admire. I haven't watched a lot of his work in all honesty, only clips of it. I can't find anywhere to watch it without subscribing to something, so I've only watched clips of his acting here and there. He's such a good actor... I really like him. Merlin has a huge and special place in my heart and it has had that for the past decade, so I might be just a tiny bit biased, but so far I genuinly love what he does

When I first saw this guy I didn't pay to much attention to him because I'm very picky, but after recently discovering him in Merlin and watching him in Benjamin I'm hook on the dude.

Saw him in 'Humans' first before I watched 'Merlin' although I had a vague idea he was the main in Merlin too. Liked him in 'Humans' maybe due to the lovely character traits of Leon Elster (or so I thought). I was alright up to this point and started watching 'Merlin'. Then it hit me. Tried to ease my growing affections with technical explanations. Told myself the show made him look like a kicked puppy on purpose; the lighting, camerashots plus the hairstylist and make-up artists had a field day with him. Fanvideos used filters etc. Didn't work! My defences and battlements wore down the longer I watched 'Merlin' and films like 'Parked', 'Testament of Youth' or 'Benjamin'. Pointed out to myself he is far from the usual 'beau' or Hollywood eyecandy and has some features considered imperfect. Didn't matter. Not at all. On the contrary, made him more human! Now I'm a total mess and completely batty for Colin, it's driving me nuts. Can't take my eyes from his lips (never did that before with another actor) nor his hands. This is a disaster and YT is doing its best to feed my affliction. Think I need help. Any ideas?

I first saw him in The Fall. He looks very handsome but of course everyone's eyes are on Jamie Dornan because fifty shades... but come to think of it Colin is really handsome.

3months later and I'm still within his thrall. Tried to escape by watching other handsome, if not physically almost perfect actors. No effect. Nada. It's not just his looks although his hands, lips and hair never fail to get my attention. No actor had this lasting impact on me, both pleasant and unsettling at the same time.

I love how the most replayed moment is 1:57 I can only imagine everyone else is thinking the same as me and catching the flicker of fear in his eyes when the interviewer talks about a gay character "wanting to be accepted" and then says that he's heard a rumour about him. Poor Colin

Колин Морган такой милый в этом интервью. Лично я 3 месяца назад вообще не знала такого артиста. Но так как моя работа - это компьютерные рисунки и в добавок в своей мастерской ,я совмещаю с просмотром разных фильмов , чтобы не слишком было нудно.. Сериал Мерлин очень милый , лёгкий и Колин в нём чудесен . А главное - это чисто эстетическое удовольствие наблюдать за его мимикой . Так как я могла познакомится с его работами единовременно , а не на протяжении 10 лет , то мне кажется , что молодой Колин более искренен в своих работах , чем в более поздних . Поэтому его работы "Мерлин" , "Припаркованные", "Остров", и "Буря "- я бы объединила и назвала бы их - яркими , импульсивными , и просто удивительно красивыми. Когда в начале пути берёшь высокую планку , то дальше сложно идти , зритель привередлив! Лично меня смущают слёзы в зрелых ролях ! Поэтому истиричный Бози , всё равно лучше , чем Лео , на мой взгляд. "Живые и Мёртвые" - сам по себе красивый сериал, Колин в нём " уютный " и "органичный " - очень красивый! Им можно просто любоваться , но актёрская игра на мой взгляд, как сильно пересоленное блюдо , а нужно всё в меру! Вообще это очень красивый артист , и наверное это ограничивает его в небольшой мере в выборе ролей . Комедия - наверное это хороший выбор!

Не знаю, мне кажется, что Бенджамин - очень сильная работа. Сыграть настолько неловкого персонажа так убедительно - нужно постараться. Насчет Лео ничего не могу сказать, мне сам сериал не нравится. Но его работа в "Счастливом принце", по моему, одна из лучших, потому что он практически не узнавали, а это лучший комплимент для актера.

I've just seen the film he was definitely much more of himself then in Merlin. Merlin still wins. My judging might not be accurate as the film did not have subtitles (why?) so some of the parts stayed unclear to me. Does anyone feel in this interview , actually nearly all in his discussions, he does not separate his thoughts into units, just let them flow freely into a chaotic a turmoil.(ok, it's not chaotic, and it's not turmoil, that was a bit extreme to say LOL ) However, unravelling their meanings took me for a while.

One film he was in but not often mentioned and I think is one of his best is- Parked 2011. Colm Meaney the very great Irish actor plays the main role but Colin is excellent-I won't give away the plot and its not as uplifting by any means as Benjamin. Colin did it while still starring in Merlin. It was one of the small independent non blockbuster type films he is drawn to. In some respects he stole the film

I mean that he sounds more English or “neutral” than he does in many other interviews, particularly earlier ones. Of course he still has a Northern Irish accent, that’s not what I mean. I just mean that he speaks in a way that’s less obviously regional. Not necessarily a good or bad thing, I just find accents very interestin, so I pointed it out.

ok 1. screw you for hating on people for loving who they want. 2. hes an actor. he acts for a living. hes pretended to be a magician in medieval times whos related to dragons and now he plays an awkward gay dude in modern times, which is probably his most realistic role by far. and hes absolutely been great at all his roles. he doesnt have to be gay to act as a gay dude on screen, example, neil patrick harris. his sexuality shouldnt concern you either.
