Old Alec Magerison or some such name as I recall. Norm would always say he didn't like working with that dummy because the dummy was a holocaust denier. In the past, he has said he doesn’t like doing podcasts, but he has been in comedy forever, and has good stories & anecdotes. Recently, he’s made the rounds, and in the right setting (like this one), we get to hear some great conversations about the environment business. He also seems to be down to earth, and just a normal dude. His reluctance to over share, or even consider himself a celebrity, is why he’s held in high regard by other comics, and the fans of this type of content.

@@federicobenavides7107 Sure. According to Bob (his friend and post roast interviews of this are online), Norm just didn't want to do the roast. So, he didn't really participate. He told jokes from an old joke book from the 1940s. People keep calling it brilliant. It was different. At the end of the day, he's still there to entertain. From what Bob said they had to cut a LOT of it out because it almost every joke was bombing. Is it brilliant to intentionally bomb? I don't think so (maybe if you're making a specific point). Is it brilliant to retell someone else's jokes? Definitely not. Is it interesting to use a totally different approach? For sure. What he did was definitely interesting. Comics liked it more than the audience. I think there's something to that.
