Ali discussed this in his own video. He reasoned it by 1. Being a doctor full-time wasn't as fun for him 2. in average a doctor helps 4 people to survive (because if Ali isn't a doc in UK, another one takes his place) 3. He loves teaching and this helping thousands to hundred thousand in their life with productivity etc it's more valuable for society
