Close but no. It's the owner and coach that had major issues. The owner never liked Salah for 3 years. Arron only played with Salah for 5 games so that not a reason to fire him. Btw for context Rodgers understood if they loss to the Vikings he might get fired which would explain why he played thru the injury during that game.

Zack Wilson was Saleh fault because it was him and his coaches picked him out of the draft and the GM had no choice but to give his brand new coach the QB he wanted. That said, Rodgers is the Jets owners boy. He hand picked him and flew out to California to meet with him. That said, Saleh is a horrible NFL head coach (second worse only to Siriani) and great DC, but Rodgers is an even larger problem, and everyone knew GB fleeced the Jets. Hackett is the worse OC in all football, but won't be gone until Rodgers is gone. That can't come soon enough.

Watched Rodgers here in Wisconsin. His legs went about 2 years before the trade. Packers GM did well to dump him for some value. A tremendous player in his prime, but that was over years before the trade. Just a soap opera now. The problems with the Jets seem to start with the owner. Lots of mistakes.

Robert Selah drafted Zach Wilson & he along with everyone bought into the Next Patrick Mahomes off platform throw hype train. He dug his own grave in an offensive head coach era. The only aspect he’s done great in was get Sauce Gardner. Aaron Rodger just got here technically this year. Selah been going downhill. Rodger doesn’t take the blame at least not yet. As a Jets fan, i can tell you Saleh should've been fired before the Jets got Rodgers. Zach Wilson bought him extra time. Look up his record with extra prep time, in December, against his own division and against teams .500 or better. He was a terrible in-game adjuster. His defense is solid, but it needs stars, and many times when the Jets needed a stop, it couldn't do it.

He runs an outdated Seattle def that completely relies on hof level pass rush and the rare LB that can cover like a db. 4 teams run it. Indy, The Jets, SF, and GB. The Jets regularly couldn't get stops when they had too. And imo he purposefully wouldn't use Sauce to shadow more often because he wanted.his scheme to get the credit. And let's not forget The Jets had last place or 3rd place schedules throughout his time.
