I can’t speak on his first 3 but of the last 4 only the Bucs game looked “easy”. Seattle threw one away, everything had to fall perfectly for the Falcons game, and zero offense was played by both teams against the Rams lol.

@@jonathanprycejr.7555 numerous problems with your, uh, ‘analysis’-let’s address just one of them here: saying everything had to go right for Pats during comeback vs. Falcons implies that $hit simply ‘happened’ fatalistically; ATL was a victim of indiscriminate, soulless destiny. Bull$hit. Only Brady brings a team back under those circumstances. Sure, multiple player’s contributed, but he bore the heaviest burden: Falcons didn’t lay down and die for him-he had to seize the prize from their grasp

I always reference ELI when I talk about stats that matter. W. We look at guys chasing stats. James Harden and scoring. 🏀 Russel Westbrook and his triple doubles. On and on…but what really matters is what you do when that CHIP is on the line. And we see these STAT chasers always failing. You can even make the argument that the PATS got lured into chasing Stats that season. When the STATS are more important than the W trouble is coming.

This is probably unpopular, but my opinion is that the greatest argument against Mahomes being the best of all time is simply that Brady's numbers in a West Coast offense with Tampa were better than Mahomes' best season with a similarly talented roster. I don't know what significance this observation will have long term, but that seems like a fair measuring stick. If Mahomes has a 6k season, it will be meaningful to this debate.

It took 2 Houdini “miracles” in the final 35 seconds of that 2007 Super Bowl for the Giants to pull it off. First, Eli somehow escaped a near-certain sack which probably would have given the Patriots a 19-0 season. Then after the escape by Eli, the Giants receiver makes one of the most improbable “helmet” catches in NFL history. I’m a Chiefs fan who was EXTREMELY disappointed that we sports fans were denied the opportunity to witness sports history by the Patriots capping off a 19-0 season. I really wanted to see it. Now my Chiefs can make history with a first-ever NFL 3 peat. I think they’ll pull it off. We’ll see.

Winning three in a row in the game of American Football would be one of the , if not the greatest achievement in sports history. Football is the ultimate team sport and I love it for this reason. So many variables from the players to the huge coaching staff. This is why it would be hard to the win three in a row. Just so many variables. Not to mention going the through the roller coaster the players have gone through having one two in a row already takes a lot out of the guys. Do they have enough left in the tank to win three? That's truth. There's a rugby league team in Australia that has won the season year after year, easily the most competitive and consistent team but their playoff conversion is 50/50 at best. Being the best team week in week out doesn't matter in the playoffs when all teams are desperate and have nothing to lose is a whole new season in itself. The teams with nothing to lose are very much dangerous, especially when you're playing a team that's put a lot of energy being the top team in the regular season with injuries and mental fatigue take it's toll✌

I wouldnt really say we live on the edge so much as we were making due with pieces we had left after injuries. We just started getting em back over the last 3 weeks and I think the evidence is clear what we should have looked like all season long. We have one of, if not the best, defense in the league and our offense is finally getting weapons back. Now that we kicked our LT's to the curb and Thuney took over our line is giving Mahomes time to make plays and he's nailing em again.

The thing you have to remember tho is that they are taking it season by season. To say we are gonna win three in a row is a big stretch, but with the line up the Chiefs have, winning this Super Bowl isn’t anywhere close to impossible

@dalehammers4425 4 күн бұрын
We have shown the last 2 games what we should have looked like all season long. I dont remotely fear anyone in front of us to a 3peat. As long as the Chiefs dont turn over the ball, they can beat anyone.

Pats closed out that season beating Giants to go 16-0 Ironically I think it motivated Big Blue and gave them the confidence to defeat them in the Big Game. The Pats also only scored 14 points and looked tight the whole game. No ther team has won every regular season game tho Quite impressive

I would say, as a franchise there is a 1 in 4 chance of winning back to back super bowls, at some point in the team’s existence. It doesn’t seem as rare when I think of it that way.
@dalehammers4425
@dalehammers4425 4 күн бұрын
How do you figure there's a 1 in 4 chance when several teams have never made it there once? Only a few teams have more than 1 SB victory in their history, where are you getting this 1/4 back to backs?

I agree with Brady with that team that lost. That team was the best patriot team ever. If you could blend in the style of football of the Super Bowl champions, that team would be better than 80% of those champions.

Indeed. Then again, so was Mahomes past two super bowls. Both games he trailed in and probably should have lost, but questionable officiating and decision making by his opposition allowed him to win in the end.

the margin for error is so small -- I mean one-half a step too late, or too early, and you don’t quite make it. One-half second too slow, too fast, you don’t quite catch it. The inches we need are everywhere around us.
