This is the only reason Cowboys games look close. They suck for most of the game and turn it up in the last few possessions and fail to get it there. You'll often see 2 quick touchdowns and then the other team is like well, guess it's back to playing hard. Done. Daks stats are so inflated. Everyone knew you don't pay the guy.

Yep, the O-Line(except for Sewell) and Goff are relatively older but the rest of the team is pretty damn young. St. Brown is only 6 months older than Jayden Reed who Colin called a "fantastic YOUNG receiver", LaPorta is in his 2nd year, Jameson Williams(who didn't play obviously) is only in his 2nd real season same for Jahmyr Gibbs. On defense 5 of their 7 regular DBs are in their 1st or 2nd season with another only in his 3rd. Their D-line outside of Reader are all still on rookie deals and 1 of their 2 starting LBs is only in his 2nd year.

Cowboys fan here: Romo was on another planet compared to Dak, don’t be fooled by the numbers. Romo always had mediocre coaches & defenses (Demarcus Ware was great ofc) and was always under pressure until the end of his career when the cowboys finally got an O-line. Best running back was Marion barber and Demarco Murray disappeared from the league after he left the cowboy’s Dak had a superbowl coach, hall of famers on both sides of the ball, and one of the greatest olines oat My hot cowboy take is that we had a chance to go to the Super Bowl Daks rookie year but Jerry wanted to move on from Tony. That team was stacked and ready to win now and we all know a rookie QB has never had great success in the playoffs. If you remember in the last game of the year, Tony played his final drive and was just dotting up the defense and was just in such control of the game similarly to how Brady just outsmarted everyone in the end of his career (obviously not to that level but just an example). In the playoffs we played a nail biter against the packers who then got blown out the next week against the Seahawks who we matched up well against. I think with Romo we win that packers game and I thought we would’ve handled the Seahawks if we could’ve just won that packers game
