Brock Purdy is the best thing to happen to San Francisco since Jim Harbaugh and if Jim was still the head coach we'd have two rings since 2019. Brock Purdy is functionally equivalent to Jalen Hurts. Agree. The Niners forcing the ball to Deebo was a mistake. Don't know why the Niners went deep to Jennings on the interception. Jennings does not have speed. Where the hell is Cowings? Give him a shot. Would like to see the Niners draft Jalon Walker at linebacker next year. Then a tackle to replace Williams and a center. Also a defensive lineman. Go with Jennings, Pearsall, and Cowings as your 1-3 receivers. Deebo's time has passed. Use him as a back up receiver/running back.

Purdy looked TERRIBLE. He underthrew nearly every ball over 20 yards. Even before the rain started he underthrew Kittle bad early. Purdy missed like 7-8 throws a top 10 guy easily makes 5 of. Did not understand why they paid Aiyuk, hell why did they pay anybody form last year? They LOST the SB, I could see if they win a SB. They lost 2. Stafford was an absolute stud in this game. Yes, the ball was sailing on him in the first half - IN A GUSTING RAIN STORM. He showed his toughness by that one run where he got the first down by DIVING HEAD FIRST, his neck got tweaked badly (take a look at it). But, when the rain stopped, he took over in the second half, leading long drives with the pass now complementing the run. In a rain storm, again their chief rival, on the road, trailing when entering the 4th quarter, he was great. A win is a win - AND STAFFORD GOT THEM THERE. He also moved up the list of all-time greats by pulling off another 4th quarter comeback. He is now in the top five all-time.

I expect this from Cowherd. First, Purdy outplayed Stafford. Stafford should have had two if not three picks. The Rams won the game on their running game. Stafford only had 22 yards in the first half and only threw ding passes. The one time he goes deep the receiver is wide open. Deebo dropped a first down pass that might have gone for a touchdown. And Deebo is a coaching choice. Who the hell called for a deep pass to Jennings who lacks speed. Further, Purdy was under more pressure than Stafford throughout the game. Three sacks to none. Further, Purdy was starting second and ten as the running game went nowhere vs Stafford that hardly had to throw a pass with Williams running over a hundred yards. Stafford was gifted a first down late in the game when no one covered the tight end. Stafford only managed to get the winning drives when Greenlaw goes out. Ward is not close to his former level of play at CB.

Mahomes, Josh Allen, Lamar (before this year) all had winning records, playoff appearances, and last year’s Super Bowl in Mahomes case without a lot of talent around them. Even Mahomes and Allen this year are doing solid with the same amount or less help than Purdy. Purdy is an average backup

Fyi, Brock Purdy has averaged 256 yards a game with 1.25 TDs and 0.67 ints and around 29 attempts a game completing just under 67% of his passes this season. Jalen Hurts last year averaged 225 yards passing on 30 attempts at 65% and about 1.35 TDs and 0.87 picks a game. After getting paid like $200m. While throwing to AJ Brown and Devonta Smith. Is anyone saying Jalen Hurts is killing his team getting paid like $50m a year?
