Colin is completely wrong about Baseball and Superteams. If revenue sharing didn't exist in Football, he would be arguing that it is good for ratings that the Giants and Cowboys each have 20 All Pros. Instead, revenue sharing + salary cap exploded the NFL's popularity since every fan base can have hope.

@@good5453 Eli Manning beat Tom Brady twice in the Super Bowl. So Eli is better than Tom Brady. Nick Foles is also better than Tom Brady. Great logic 👍 Mahomes is already clearly the most talented QB to ever play. He's had the best start to a career ever, and if he 3 peats, which no one has ever done in the history of the league, he will be the GOAT. He would have 4 rings, a three peat, 4 superbowl mvps, 2 regular season MVPs ( almost certainly more by the time he retires), he is going to obliterate Brady in every passing stat, and this is all assuming he just never wins another one after the 3 peat. It will be over. You can argue over 2-10. #1 will be set in stone.

I actually like the guy too. He's great at formulating arguments (outside of lebron) even if he is wrong. Which he is fairly often. People complain about his politics, but every sports guy in America is a left wing nut job basically. There's nothing you can do about that. His lebron antics are embarrassing, but I understand why he has them because lebron is his hero and role model and that's how America knows him tbh. I don't understand the Bob Knight comparison. Bob Knight went to Texas Tech and had 20+ win seasons in 5/7 years there. Each of his last 4 years at Indiana he won 20+ games. Bill Belicheck would still be in New England if he put up the type of numbers Bob Knight did, and Bob Knight would have been welcome at TT for many years past when he retired if he had not chosen to. You may not LIKE him personally or his coaching philosophy but he was never discussed in the way Belichick has been discussed the last 2 years in terms of results.

There’s a way simpler explanation for the increasing importance of RBs and decreasing importance of WRs compared to previous seasons than a bunch of WRs being divas. Defenses spent decades getting gashed by the passing game and finally adapted. 2 high safeties all the time, they’re playing nickel more than base and when they do put linebackers on the field, half of them are the size of DBs. The meta of the NFL has shifted to make running easier and passing harder.

What you posted was blatantly false. So going 1-3 on field goalsz and finally hitting a 41 yarde,.indoors, means you singlehandedly won the SB? I don’t think it can be understated how beneficial it is for the NFL to have 1 game a week. I love hockey but with work and everything it’s almost impossible to keep up with.

Bill is the greatest coach of all time and will always be. Until Andy wins 8 SBs stop capping on Bill. Every great coach needed a great QB stop it.

It's weird to think that Belichick has to win at UNC, but in some ways he does to save his coaching legacy. He needs to prove he can win without Brady.

interesting.... nick wright acknowledges stats are different depending on what era you play in..... yet lebrons padded stats being inflated because of the era he is in, yet jordan still has better numbers then lebron, yet Nick still has LeBron over MJ..... Nick is King of moving the goal post when it suits his argument to back his "guys"

I really don’t see the Belicheck situation the same way these two do at all. Bill retired as the undisputed coaching GOAT. Andy is great but he’s still 2 Super Bowl wins away from being in the conversation. Bill has nothing to prove in the NFL and has accomplished everything there is to accomplish. Who cares if he is a few games short of thr all time record. That doesn’t factor into anyone’s GOAT coach debate. I dont know that UNC will be a national title contender but I do think they will be a draft pick manufacturing machine. Bill will create a pipeline to the pro’s at UNC

I think the biggest issue of the nba is that Nick's goat LBJ and the naba basically called more than a half their viewers racist and put black life matters all over the court. Since that happened ratings have been falling. I have not watched a game since
@grantbrewer3270
@grantbrewer3270 Күн бұрын
This is so obviously not the issue. It has no impact on the viewing experience at all. It’s boring to watch because it’s all 3 pointers. And nobody “called everybody racist” when they said equality is good

As much as we like to give things to Tom Brady, the first 10 years of New England was all Bill Belichick. Peyton Manning was as good as Tom Brady was the first 10 years. But nowhere was early Peyton Manning able to deal with Bill. I am not overly impressed with Andy Reid seeing all of the bonehead mistakes he made both with Philadelphia for those years and with early Kansas City . When game and it’s rules change where defenses can’t play defense and offensive has far more ability to not get hit, you saw the shift

@nickbarcheck1019 The Patriots were cheap, eroding their personnel year on year... juggling the roster and still winning was down to Belichick as much as it was Brady; just look at Burrows at Cincinnati - great QB but flaky team.
