you have such a gentle and simplistic way of putting the small pieces on , that new paper people like myself can actually follow and do for ourselves.

This is such a marvelous idea. It gives one the chance to work on collage techniques without the pressure of making these tidbits on command, to go into a specific journal. Then, they are ready to choose from. Thanks for sharing. Love videos that send us to our workrooms.

This is a great method for using up those tiny bits. Can’t wait to try it! I love that you used the tracing paper for the base. And adding the tiny stamped images really gives a lot of interest. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this tutorial…..the music was wonderful too. Now I must subscribe! 😊♥️

Very relaxing just watching and the music was soft..I've made some before but not with a glue stick. Looked way less messy than when i used Elmers clear..thank you

I almost don't want to finish watching because I want to take out my tracing paper (which I've had forever and it just sits there and now I'll have a use for it!) and all the bits and bobs I have! Your collages are inspiring...and I LOVE the music in the background; so soothing and a perfect choice. Okay...I'm finishing the video before I start because I don't want to miss anything. :)

Thanks so much for this inspiration! I ended up using recycled Kraft paper packaging which I stamped and inked first then highlighted individual vintage ephemera from a Tim Holtz pack (insects, mushrooms, butterflies and flowers). The packaging I used is long and already perforated in just the right spots. :)

P.S. One suggestion for those of us who don't have a place to store a 6 foot long collage roll...leave the sections in 12" lengths and store them in a file folder or maybe lying flat in a box.

I love everything about this! I was inspired to try it and the only thing I did differently was I used my metal ruler and tore the edges of the tracing paper so when I glue them in place they would be a bit more organic. Thanks for posting!

@papermademedoit4 жыл бұрын
Dre Buydos Thank you! It crinkles a little bit not too much. You could prob cut strips of the A4 TR paper to use as the base and wet them first. That would give mad crinkles. Lol

Loved this video. Want to try doing this myself. Looks relaxing. Question: are the individual collages meant to be removed from the tracing paper? Or, are they meant to be used with the tracing paper still attached. I ask because I’m wondering about glue if they are meant to be pulled off.
@papermademedoit4 жыл бұрын
Lee Fisher Thank you! I will use mine still attached. The inspiration video used waxed paper instead of tracing paper as a base so she was able to remove hers like stickers because of the wax coating. Hope that helps!

Not sure what you do with this...

Carolyn Picken I will use mine as decoration in journaling in my travelers notebooks or junk journals, but could also be used for mail art or in gift wrapping/tags...however your creativity inspires you to use them 😉
