Love this book! I am on a glue booking binge, I set up an 8 ft. folding table in one of our guest bedrooms so I have space behind my desk to really spread out. I set up a composition color book like yours last week and I dragged out my en masse project from years ago too. I really have to thank you for introducing to me to the rectangle and squares method for backgrounds, it makes spreads so much easier to manage! I had way more fun harvesting magazines than the actual gluing last go round, now I’m getting my groove.

My two cats, Lily and Lois, were about a year apart. They both made it to 19. They really had a good, long life and I miss them. I really love the dog and cat book and there are so many images out there. 😻🐶

My cats were half sisters (same mom) and only a year apart as well. Gretchen passed when she was only 13 and Harley at 16...I miss them still to this day. 19 is such a long wonderful life! You are so lucky to have had so many wonderful years together, almost 2 decades!

Those are neat books. 😃👍 Yeah, I get it, and I'm sorry for your loss of Harley... Soma (cat) was that "special" one for me.... and we had to say goodbye to her on Dec. 1rst, 2024. she was 9. I miss her like crazy... and I don't think I will get another one. And I was away with my husband on a Business trip, when Mrs. Bear (another cat) died (she was 13). they are family members..... and it's very hard when their time comes. 🤗 Anyway, great glueing session. You have fun and great images. 😃👍

Yes you are so right about how much Joy gluebooking gives you , it’s such a great way to help you calm your mind and make you feel better if you’re having a bad day. It helps with my anxiety and I feel happier when I’m working in my gluebook, so love this hobby

I agree, themes are just so fun!! They seem easier to me, and possibly more fun? Not sure, but I do love a good theme glue book!!! I love your numbers theme, I might need to do that one some day...Fashion would be a great one!

We had black eyed peas on rice lol it was super tasty…with bacon in it.. my family loved it even tho they don’t like beans or peas much., I love this book., I don’t collect enough cat and dog stuff to make a while big glue book but would if I did have a lot.. great glue shesh!! That is an adorable look, if I was to see that everyday I’d definitely say he was adorable too..

That sounds delish!! I have never actually had black eyed peas before, I want to try them! I ended up making a quesadilla from leftovers from last nights chicken taco night...but then, I burnt it, and it was gross. I was so hangry hahhahaha, I ate it anyway because I hadn't eaten all day but ewww! I didn't think I had enough dog/cat stuff either, but then I requested the pet catalogs, and saw some books at DT and next thing you know I have a glue book going hahahhahaa!

I used to have a solid black Manx ( no tail). He liked to play with things in the night. One time I got it from him and put it away and he came after me slashing my legs with those razor sharp claws. I bet you thought twice about taking things away from him next time, ouchie! I had a cat that would attack my feet if I moved them while asleep...not a fun way to wake up! Thankfully we are doing well here in Oregon, the fires haven't effected us. My heart just breaks for everyone in California...so incredibly sad.

Thank you for the inspiration. I've been carrying a load of guilt because years ago I started gathering cat stuff to scrapbook my cats. I never did. I always felt bad that I never took a boatload of pictures of my cats. Of the six I had at one point, all got old and passed away (except one who died young of sudden kidney disease). But now I can use what I have to gluebook it. If I want to add their pictures, I can. Also, my husband and son are having bratwursts for dinner. I can't/don't eat meat (I'm like 90% plant-based for health reasons) and will probably have some bean tacos.

I love your idea of glue booking your cats, and I bet your bean tacos are delicious! I only started eating meat again a few years ago, I was vegan for years for health reasons as well. I can't eat much of it now.

Wellllll....here's the thing LOL....I might have to plead the 5th on that one hahahahaha! J/K...I have quite a few going at the moment....Random in a comp book, Big Random, Dog/Cat, Birds & Blooms, Shark, Twinchie Grid, Masterboard, & Pick 5 are my main ones that I rotate through. I have some others that are almost finished that I got bored with. I always come back to them eventually!

OH NO!!!! Jackson cut some of Harley's hair when he was little...I was so glad he only cut a piece of her hair. Thankfully we had a nice long talk about how we don't do that, and we were good. Kids do some weird stuff hahahhahaha they're so curious!

Yup. I had a cat from time she was itsy bitsy to 19 1/2 years. She was special. She even called me mom. My son couldn't believe it when he heard her say it. He's like did she just say mom??? I'm like yeah. She does. But when she passed I never found her. She did a walk away from home thing. So I never had to deal with it. I just think about her . She was blind and losing her mind sot it was time. 😢 oh well. My cat story. Sorry. 😊
