I've used his episode about "collapse of the oceans" for inspiration about my thesis in marine biology! To see an actor I so much admire be aware of the ocean crisis is so amazing and fulfilling Thank you Joshua, and to all the organizations fighting for the cause, thank you so much! 🐳

That's right. And the current situation, all the garbages just remain uncollected and untreated. But ok, everyone in the Phil has his own smartphone. Salamat Globe&Smart. Next stage : covid/5G and we're dead.

I am not angry, I am not frustrated, I am not going on a rant. I am simply blown away by the fact that I have found this documentary by accident when looking for something completely different. Although I look, google, search for the term documentary every so often, and yet I have never, seen this... and in saying that I am thinking all kinds of "I'm confused, worried, conflicted, and everything else you read among these lines... "No time should be lost!?" that's where this one ends... the message in this documentary, you did watch to the end right, no? than do that first and maybe come back to reading this, this is just me thinking, this documentary is showing something you really do want to see. Did see it, do care to read some thoughts on the matter from a fellow confused human... This is 2017 - we are 4 years later, and why was this not the indoctrination on all stations throughout the pandemic!? worldwide? 15.221 people have seen this? (I am considering of course that more people have seen this through other channels, like on television but still - does the term viral not apply for actual "content") I feel like I am lucky to come across it, but with all the information I come across that is useful and interesting there is just as much that is absolutely not and yet I see it on repeat. So why are we seeing the most valuable information, once or twice to then have it be forgotten or to disappear into the abyss of the internet? At least the people in the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Timor-Leste, Papua New Guinea, and the Soloman islands should all have seen this. It's their future first, a lot of them, they know of course, they must know, but that's 384milion people soon to be without food and a home. I feel restless, seeing this but I know that the issue always gets stopped by politics. Have they seen this, have they understood that it's actually a worldwide economy driven by profit that makes it impossible to not have every man (company) fend for themselves. For companies to not want to change their ways?! Because as much as I am being selective and I am trying to do what I can do to make a difference however small, I know that there are companies that use containers full of plastic every day, where machines turn all day on polluting gas and they have to dump anything they waist into the companies container because it's all under the caller rest-waist. Workers have to do it because if they don't they are fired for not doing their job. It's as simple as - if you won't, the next guy will - Going against them is not up to the middle man - us? Because we are not the one who can impact with a strike. What I am thinking - An economy based on the yearly statement needing to show how you are making a positive impact on at least 80% of the customers you affect and the planet you impact could make A difference. Where profit equals impact for it being profitable. Because everybody profits from it... NOT because a handful of men in suits get paper with numbers out of it, or numbers in a statement that gets them all excited and competitive to do more of their harmful business with eager passion and dedication thinking they are running an empire and making a difference in the world but most of all are doing what they are supposed to do. Which is to make money, no matter how much damage they are causing, they are living up to what they have to fulfill, a business model that is based on making -money- profit. I should stop here and continue watching... I am curious to see if this documentary also provides some answers and solutions... We need them! we are running out of time. But it's late first I sleep, tomorrow I continue. I am creating a playlist out of this, maybe you can do the same? Let's get this out on a loop somehow? What do you think? What do you think we can do, and what do you want to do. I want to try to get this to be seen again. All the best, Casey (from Belgium, Antwerp)

Most damages are from dynamite fishing. A little disappointed that they didn't mention it. In the 90s it was popular and now they reap the damages. I grew up in the Philippines and was part of a small fishing town.
