These 2 people are about the most down to earth I've ever met without actually meeting them in person, it's hard to find people out there that have the same values you grew up with, thank you Chris and Tammy, as far as quality flour-you definitely get what you pay for. I probably drink more coffee than anyone on the plant. I worked 50 years on the inland waterways of our country as a towboat pilot and captain. Coffee was my main stay food I know that’s sounds crazy but I would drink two 8 to 10 cups per watch each watch was a 6 hour span. I never liked anything in my coffee just black. The last 25 years a drank community coffee with chicory very dark roast and strong. I’m been retired since 2014 and came home and started a hay farming business. I’m having to replace coffee with just water not liking it but doing it only drink about 4 to 5 cups per day of coffee doctors orders. You can’t believe how much I enjoy watching you’ll cooking show it reminds me of food on the boats. I really missed the food. We just don’t eat that heavy food here especially in the summer time. I’ve been using your biscuit recipes and really like them over the frozen ones from the stores. When you have your health you are truly blessed. The Lord has numbered the hairs on our heads and our days here. I’m sure you show is a blessing and enjoyment to others. Thank you for sharing

You just mentioned lemon pepper, not a fan at all, not to say I don't like lemon, I just prefer to eat it in a form of desserts or in ice tea. You two just know how to tolerate each other, that's a gift from God and a rarity these days!!! I just love you two, you're both from my generation, I feel like I've known you all my life without ever meeting you in person, the rum story made me laugh so hard 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆😆. Chris and Tammy, we are much older than you two, but my husband and I share a few things in common with y’all. He went to South Ga. College for two years and graduated from UGA and taught school. When he did his student teaching, my sister was in his class and she and her boyfriend set us up on a blind date. Four months later we had a double wedding. August 15th we celebrate our 50th anniversary. He retired from teaching the same way that Chris did. Sure wish I could’ve been a cook like you, Tammy. Loved your video!

I always enjoying watching you and Chris, you have such a bubbly personality and are very honest about is going on in your life! I love your kitchen and agree if things are not out where you can seen them you won't use them. I don't have a big kitchen so I've turned my enclosed and heated front porch into my pantry, also just bought a small chest freezer to put there too. I love being able to see everything I have! May God bless and use you as you minister to us through your You Tube Channel.

Strawberry Rhubarb pie is better than just Rhubarb. They really go together well. Rhubarb is tangy and the strawberries are sweet but the sugar balances out the tangy rhubarb. I never grew up with it and I never tasted it till grown. But I really like it. It’s not really sweet celery. When cooked, it’s very tender.

It's because it's very bubbly and lighter. A lot of time I'll cut my i.e., cranberry juice with club soda. Tammy, you need a mic you can dictate into to respond to email. It exists! :) Look into computer tools for sight impaired. Lots out there! Tools will read for you and you can dictate your response. All three of your dogs are so pretty and so is that cat. We had a Jack Russell she was my mama's dog but when my mama died in 2018 she was just grieving herself to death so I gave her to her neighbor her name was Tracy before her we had a chihuahua by the name of chipper. We had her for almost 15 years and had to have her put to sleep when she got heart trouble since I were one weekend. My mama cried and cried when we lost her so then my step brother brought Trixie over and Mama fell in love with her. I hated to give her to my neighbor but I couldn't see her grieving herself to death. I love to see these shows where you and Chris are on here talking to your fans including me. Of course I'm having to watch all the replays and try to get caught up I do want your lives when they come on but then I go back to the replays. I would love to see your three daughters on there one day. God bless you both and I hope you're having a good day. I am sick again with a severe UTI. It is March 19th on a Saturday 2022. So I will talk to you later I'm getting back to watching the show would you and Chris . Love ya

I'm so proud of you both!!! Losing weight is all about portion control and making smart compromises. You're doing it right and you look great. I eat whatever I want, but only half of it. It's surprising how many calories you can cut out by just having a bite or two of your favorite foods. I'd rather have that than nothing and then binge. Also, Jaccard, is pronounced Juh-CARD. Our neighbors have that last name. I really enjoyed watching this even if it wasn't live. ~ Lisa

Rhubarb pie is my favorite pie. I was so sad when Marie Calendar's restaurants closed because they made such good rhubarb pie. But that's okay, because I make it great myself. ;) Rhubarb crisp is also fantastic (with a crispy oatmeal type topping...) Have you ever made French Onion soup? I have a great French Onion casserole that tastes like that and it's one of my faves. Probably wouldn't be good for a diet, though. :D I love watching your show, even if you don't like rhubarb pie.

Tammy & Chris, l want to thank you both for taking the time to make this video. I can tell yall enjoyed making it as much as we enjoyed watching. I dont care for rhubarb, and have only purchased it once in my life for an older friend to make her husband a pie. Voltaren gel or diclofenac gel is my lifesaver! I have bad shoulders, knees and ankles, plus my back has degenerative disc disease. Speaking of rum cake, lve only ever made one rum pound cake and it was delicious. I have a bittlw of blackberry wine for a blackberry pound cake that l used to make and loved. You should try it Tammy since you love blackberries. I love blackberries too. I started having a bowl of fresh fruit to start my day a couple of years ago in order to get my cholesterol under control, because it will kill you faster than high blood pressure.

Don't over cook or it will turn into candy. You Don't want that. Then lput I put my icing in the freezer and stir often to cool. The colder it gets the thicker it gets. After the cake and icing is completely cold , ice your cake. So Delicious.

I was chosen as the holder of the potato salad recipe that has been passed down generations from our ancestors in Missouri. My locality holds a annual spring festival for the mustard fields blooming. Dozens of buses of tourists from SF arrive. We hold a luncheon for them and I handle the potato salad station. Everyone says eating that is worth the price alone and a reason they come back every year. I make sure ghe helpers are kept separate and nobody can really put the entire mixture together.

A few years ago I made a list with different restaurants (that my husband and I eat at) and the foods there that I could eat, according to calories. I carry this list in my purse and i just look up what they have in the calories I want...Easy... Texas Roadhouse,... steak 6 oz. sirloin has 250 calories., kids size steak fries 200 cal. Broccoli 60-100. Because I have always been a small portion eater (I truly just cannot hold much food) i eat very small amounts. Even the sirloin, steak fries, and broccoli is too much. I feel so stuffed if I eat it all...so I eat half, save the rest for my husbands lunch. Then he adds fruit, etc.... I kind of follow a carb diet but not all the way. I eat 2 eggs, 1 slice bacon and 1 carb toast for breakfast....Then I'm full until dinner except for some fruit in the afternoon. Popcorn in the evening. and water all the time.... I like water best. I recently did this kind of diet for a month, lost 14 lbs. Whatever way works for you, do it. Before you know it, it becomes your way of life..... You never go back.

You two are rays of sunshine on a cloudy day😊 Loved watching this 2 year old video y'all made together ❤️ On days when I'm not feeling good, I go back to some of your previous videos and will feel better for having spent the time and learned something 😊 And if you've not made a Rum cake yet, my advice, don't do it. I can't stand the taste of alcohol either and I did eat a slice my husband's sister baked but I didn't like it even a tiny bit. Just ruined a perfectly good cake, in my opinion. Love y'all ❤️ 😍
