Great video. Give Mexene Chili Powder a try.... Great stuff out of Texas and I think it adds all extra of that chili flavor.

Love your videos. Could you give those of us less experienced cooks more of an idea of how much to use in your biscuit recipe?

Watching you for the first time from Michigan. Going to try making this recipe with my GF. it's a chilly Fall day and these sound perfect! I love your Southern style! My mom is from Alabama and I spent lots of time there visiting the family, and you bring back such great memories of them. My dear Maw Maw (b 1903) would serve what she called " Apple Flitters lol " for breakfast some times. SO good. I think they were actually closer to your fried apple pie recipe that I saw. We are going to give these fritters a try though today. Just curious where are you from?

Put them on your egg turner and gently lay them down in the oil. That way they won’t splatter grease all over the place.

I always make rice and cornbread when I make chili. And we each eat it in different combinations. Chili is great like that, everyone can make it just the way they like. 😊

Looks soooo good! I use the Joan of Arc spicy chili beans, they give it a slight kick😋 It's going to be 90 degrees today and a possible TS/hurricane threat later in the week so the chili may have to wait.😊 Have a great day!!

I’m very picky about my chili. Mine is never as good as momma’s and my sister’s. Both have went home to be with Jesus. My momma and sister always used Mexene chili powder, tomato paste, tomato sauce ( red gold) light red kidney bean (2) cans, 3 lbs ground beef, and 2 big onions and 1/2 lb spaghetti. I would love to eat their chili just one more time. It’s that time of the year to get chili fixins stocked up and veggie soup. I bet these are delicious. Thank you Tammy and Chris.. Love ya❗️❤

My mom made puffs, but the dough was made the night before because it had to rise. She would roll it out and then cut in 3-4" pieces. These would be fried. We ate them with butter and syrup. Or with peanut butter when the puffs were cold.

Hey there y’all!! We are in Charleston SC area. We are so appt to hear that you enjoyed your visit!! I got to share my story with you. I’m from Marion County, KY. My parents decided to move us to Charleston SC in my junior year of high school, and I went kicking and screaming!!! I got there, and had every intention of going back home the following year when I was 18 yrs old!! That is until I went from 2 ft of snow, thermal long johns, sweaters & coats to shorts and t-shirts w/ a light jacket! Then the streets of DT Charleston, and all of the great adventures that await anyone who is up to adventure, and the beaches!!! Well, I decided that I would go Vivian back home, and I would just have to tough it out here in beautiful Charleston, SC. LOL. KY is absolutely beautiful, like in Lexington the white fences run for miles, and green pastures of bluegrass and beautiful horses that live inn stables fit for a king to live in. So, both places have a place in my heart, but I favor Charleston. It’s infectious, so watch out! LOL. I love your channel❣️Hugs and God bless !!🤗🙏♥️.
