About two weeks ago I watched a video a man had put together telling his viewers how he makes certain methods of doing things easier, one of them was removing sausage from its packaging, he cut one end off, then he grabbed hold of that little metal twisted on the end and he started just twisting it and the sausage was out in a nano second! I tried it and it worked perfectly. 😊

I didn't know you had fibromyalgia; I have it too. Doesn't it make you angry when people dismiss it as all in your head, or that you need to just "suck it up"? The pain is almost unbearable some days, and it just makes me so mad when people act like it's a made-up disease.
@barbarasue71916 ай бұрын
I believe you about the pain. Most people don't make up lies about such things. I said a prayer for you both.

I have it too.....yes, sometimes the pain is horrible. I also feel like I'm sick with a virus almost every day too. I'm 55 but feel like I'm 85 most days. I was diagnosed at 42 but had it before then. It's certainly life changing! I feel for you! ❤

My daughter-in-law has it also. It's horrible. Even her doctors dismiss it sometimes

I had it. I cut out carbs and it went into remission years ago and hasn't come back. I know two other people that also went into remission cutting out carbs. Some people think it's too much trouble. It took one of my friends a year before she was desperate enough to try it. For me, the pain was so unbearable I literally would have tried anything.

Try a rebounder. I cut back on carbs and walked every day and my joints still hurt so I got a rebounder and I jump at least 10 minutes a day. I noticed a difference the very next day after I started. I'm 71 Female.

Hi Tammy - I made this breakfast pie / quiche and forgot to add the flour and it still came out great! The only modification I made purposely was I added an extra egg and added some cooked portobello mushrooms because I like them. I wanted to try your recipe because in most quiche recipes you layer in the ingredients and top with the egg mixture. I like the fact in your recipe everything was mixed together and added to the precooked pie shell. Delish!

If using a deep dish pie crust spread an 8 oz block of softened cream cheese on the bottom of the precooked crust. Add jalapenos or green chiles to the mix and substitute the sausage for ground beef, makes like a chile rellenos/jalapeno popper quiche. Very yummy

I have fibromyalgia also. I am 69 and I started with it in early 40s. Mine seemed triggered by Lyme disease. It is better overall now, but I now deal with neuropathy pain and phantom pain after losing left leg. I had a severe sepsis that necessitated that. So I am glad the fibro pain eased to make room for the new pain! Life is a challenge for sure sometimes. But I will tell you…fibromyalgia is very real. Thankfully my husband ( who was a family practice MD) believed it with patients even before I developed it . He reassured his patients that while he had no clear answers, it was real. Btw, I am eating less carbs, focusing on complex carbs , and I am having improvements.

Tammy, you said 4 eggs in the written recipe yet you used 6 eggs in the video. One cup of half and half to 6 eggs seems like too little liquid, based on my experience making quiche. Folks you don't need to add that butter, it's completely unnecessary and just adds more saturated fat. Looks like a delicious quiche.
