I bought these in the 80s when they were ESCI.Thousands of figures and almost 40 years later and they're still the backbone of my Army

This a well sculpted set of figures for WW2 wargames, and provided with officers, engineer figs and heavy weapons - some of the latter may need modification such as the medium mortar. They are very compatible with the Plastic Soldier Company infantry who, without back packs, can be the armoured infantry who did most of the fighting. Where manufacturers fail is in supplying artillery, including towed anti tank guns, and certain so guns like the hellcat and the 3 inch AT gun, the 105mm howitzer etc

Always find Italeri figures in this scale are the best on the market. Far better detail and moulding compared to Caesar figures I bought recently. Always remember my dad telling me to stick the butt of his 12 bore shot gun well under my arm before firing it as a 10 year old. Made my air rifle seem like a pea shooter! Would also recommend the Italeri Elite and Winter German infantry and the Revell US infantry.

Nice set. I find that they paint up fairly well and the detail shows through nicely.

Another awesome review. Big thumbs up for me. I've got 3 1/72 kits of these and wouldn't mind getting another 5 of kits. Ever since I was a kid and my dad took me to our local model shop in whakatane Aotearoa /New Zealand in the 1980s I've always been a big fan of Esci Models. My rating for the 1/72 Ww2 American infantry is 9/10.

On the boxes if you look on one side the name says American Infantrya. It has an A on it. I’m not sure if this occurred to everyone but my one had it

in 1973, i got a set of ESCI Roman soldiers whilst on holiday in Italy (very fitting, right?). Unfortunately, they were so low quality that even my 10 year old self never mixed them up with my Airfix soldiers. I've always been wary of Italian makers since then...

I have thousands of WW 2 figures and over two hundred vehicles all italeri or cesear mainly and while i have a full compliment i think your videos are entertaining and informative especially for newbies who may be on a limited budget but for some reason one or two reviews seem to have a problem , why i dont know , but toatal waste of spacers in my opinion.
